  • Patent number: 11938965
Abstract: Vehicle allocation system includes an information provision apparatus, a first apparatus: control apparatus, and a user's second apparatus: user terminal apparatus. Processor of the information provision apparatus calculates a first driving plan for a vehicle in response to request information. When a second driving plan different from the first driving plan is calculated based on detection information acquired from the vehicle, the processor determines the cause of a change in the driving plan on the basis of the detection information. The processor transmits cause information including the cause to the user terminal apparatus. The user terminal apparatus presents the cause information on a display.

  • Patent number: 9004763
Abstract: A buried plug has interference which is made to exert a load or stress less in a widthwise direction of the guide rail than in a lengthwise direction of the guide rail, thereby protect raceways on the guide rail against any deformation such as bulge. The buried plug has a mating zone to press fit into a counterbore of a bolt hole and a leading zone to guide the mating zone into the counterbore. Let assuming a definition that a direction perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the guide rail is referred to a direction opposed to the raceway surface or the widthwise direction of the guide rail, the interference exerting a force on the counterbore in the widthwise direction is determined less than the interference exerting the force on the counterbore in the lengthwise direction of the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 7627949
Abstract: In order to increase the displacement of a motorcycle engine, the existing cylinder block of the engine is dismounted from its crankcase, and the existing piston is dismounted from its connecting rod. Then, a new piston having a greater diameter than the dismounted existing piston is mounted on the connecting rod, and a new cylinder block having a greater bore diameter than the existing dismounted cylinder block is connected to the crankcase while sliding the new large-diameter piston along the inner wall of the bore of the new cylinder block. The new cylinder block has a bottom end that is located above the top end of the crankcase when mounted on the crankcase. The new piston is short enough not to be inserted into the crankcase when moved to the bottom dead center. This eliminates the need to disassemble the crankcase or any parts in the crankcase. It is thus possible to easily increase the engine displacement.

  • Patent number: 7382105
Abstract: In a motor driving device where a motor having a winding wire with small inductance value is driven by a digital control means comprised of control means including a current command value calculating means, a current control means and a PWM control means whose sampling periods are different from each other, when discrete signals sampled by the respective control means are zero-order-held, a motor current includes a lot of higher harmonic waves due to a quantization error, thereby increasing a motor noise. When an n-th-order hold means is provided between the respective control means with different sampling periods, the quantization error can be reduced remarkably, and thus the higher harmonic wave components included in the motor current are reduced, thereby greatly reducing the motor noise.

  • Patent number: 6547698
Abstract: A system for controlling an automatic transmission of a vehicle, wherein if the change of the destined gear GB (i.e., the target gear SH) is required when the jumping shift, i.e., two-gear downshifting is in progress, the input/output rotational speed ratio GRATIO (indicative of degree of shift progress) is compared with the predetermined input/output rotational speed ratio #GRCN312 or #GRCN423, and based on the result of comparison, how the shift to establish or effect the required destined gear GB, i.e., the shift mode QATNUM is determined, thereby enabling to improve or enhance the response to the change of the destined gear GB during two-gear downshifting. It can also prevent the clutch from being degraded in such a shifting.

  • Publication number: 20030044119
Abstract: In a planar waveguide optical circuit 1, a inclined groove 3 is formed at an inclination angle &thgr; with respect to the vertical axis so as to cross optical waveguides 2n. A reflection filter 4 structured such that the difference in reflectivity between orthogonal polarization is compensated for with respect to signal light is installed inside the groove 3, the reflected light from the reflection filter 4 is detected by the photodetectors 6n, and the optical intensity of the signal light is monitored. This makes it possible to accurately monitor the optical intensity regardless of the polarization state of the signal light. Also, since the inside of the groove 3 including the reflection filter 4 is sealed with a filler resin 5, any deterioration in long-term stability that would otherwise be caused by contamination of these components is prevented.

  • Patent number: 6443165
Abstract: A method for use in a plasma treatment system that shortens the time required for the cleaning of a fluorine containing carbon film adheared in a vacuum vessel and protects the surface of a transfer table when the cleaning is carried out. After a CF film is deposited by, e.g., a plasma treatment system, the cleaning of the CF film adhered in a vacuum vessel 2 is carried out. In the cleaning, a plasma of O2 gas is produced, and the C—C and C—F bonds on the surface of the CF film are physically and chemically cut by the active species of O produced by the plasma. The O2 gas penetrates into the CF film at places where the C—C and C—F bonds have been cut, to react with C of the CF film to form CO2 which scatters. On the other hand, F scatters as F2. Thus, the CF film is removed.

  • Patent number: 6355902
Abstract: Microwave is introduced into a plasma chamber of a plasma processing apparatus and magnetic field is applied thereto to allow plasma generation gas to be placed in plasma state by the electron cyclotron resonance. This plasma is introduced into a film forming chamber of the plasma processing apparatus to allow film forming gas including compound gas of carbon and fluorine or compound gas of carbon, fluorine and hydrogen, and hydro carbon gas to be placed in plasma state. In addition, an insulating film consisting of fluorine added carbon film is formed by the film forming gas placed in plasma state.
