  • Patent number: 7414342
Abstract: A magnet-mounting member for holding permanent magnets against side faces of each claw-shaped magnetic pole has pairs of extreme-end and basal-end hooking tabs for preventing displacement of the permanent magnets in either a basal-end or extreme-end direction. The magnet-mounting member is configured such that a function of the basal-end hooking tabs to prevent displacement of the permanent magnets can be disabled by deforming the basal-end hooking tabs. When the magnet-mounting member is forced onto the claw-shaped magnetic pole, the basal-end hooking tabs go into contact with the permanent magnets and deform outward, whereby the magnet-retaining function of the basal-end hooking tabs is disabled. When the magnet-mounting member has been fully pushed onto the claw-shaped magnetic pole, the basal-end hooking tabs resume an original shape to prevent the permanent magnets from being displaced in either direction.

  • Patent number: 7376364
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a sheet feeding cassette, transport rollers, a pick-up roller, a sheet detector, and a control section. The sheet feeding cassette stores sheets for developer images to be transferred thereonto at a secondary transfer position. The transport rollers transport a sheet at variable speeds along a sheet transport path which extends from the cassette to the secondary transfer position. The pick-up roller feeds a sheet into the sheet transport path. The sheet detector detects whether a sheet is fed from the cassette. When the detector detects that a sheet is not fed, the control section controls the pick-up roller to feed the sheet again. The control section varies respective transport speeds of the pick-up roller, a sheet feed roller, and the transport rollers, according to number of attempts to feed the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20080023911
Abstract: A paper feeder comprises an acquiring device, a driving roller, driven rollers, a driven roller supporter, a driver, and a controller. The acquiring device acquires thickness information on a sheet of paper. The driving roller rotates by being supplied with torque. The driven rollers rotate with the driving roller when in compressive contact with the driving roller. The driven roller supporter so supports the driven rollers that each of them can rotate under a different rotational load. The driver changes the position of the driven roller supporter relative to the driving roller. The controller selects one of the driven rollers on the basis of the thickness information and so activates the driver as to bring the selected roller into compressive contact with the driving roller.

  • Patent number: 7272484
Abstract: A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine can effectively suppress the rotational fluctuation of the engine by properly controlling the operating state of a rotating electrical machine without applying an excessive load to a power supply system connected to the rotating electrical machine. The rotating electrical machine is used for both electric operation and electric power generation, and is connected to the engine. A control circuit controls at least one of a field current and an armature current of the rotating electrical machine. A power supply system is connected to the rotating electrical machine. A rotational fluctuation suppression section (ECU) suppresses the rotational fluctuation of the engine by controlling an amount of electric power and generated torque of the rotating electrical machine in accordance with an electric power load of the vehicle, an amount of electric power of the power supply system, and the rotational speed of the rotating electrical machine.

  • Patent number: 7234226
Abstract: An iron core of a rotating-electric machine and a manufacturing method for the same permit a uniform curvature to be easily obtained over an entire circumference of the iron core. The iron core has laminated magnetic plate strips, a cylindrical core proximal portion, a plurality of teeth projecting in a substantially radial direction from the core proximal portion, and slots for accommodating a winding that are located between the teeth adjacent to each other. The iron core is fabricated by curving both end portions of a substantially hexahedral laminate so that the core proximal portion obtains a predetermined curvature, forming the entire laminate into a cylindrical shape by wrapping it around a cylindrical core member so that distal ends of the teeth project from the core proximal portion, and joining both end portions of the laminate.

  • Patent number: 7208856
Abstract: Claw-shaped magnetic poles are alternately disposed along the rotation plane of a rotor of an electric rotating machine, and a permanent magnet is disposed between the claw-shaped magnetic poles. Surface of the permanent magnet is coated with a coating layer. The coating layer is composed of a anticorrosive material performing sacrificial anticorrosion (metal flake in a coating film rusts prior to a matrix resulting in protection of the matrix) such as inorganic material containing zinc and a film of the anticorrosive material is formed by spraying. Ionization tendency of zinc is larger than that of iron composing the permanent magnet, and the permanent magnet is difficult to be rusted owing to the sacrificial anticorrosion. Consequently, anticorrosion of the permanent magnet disposed between the claw-shaped magnetic poles is improved.

  • Publication number: 20070086608
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a piezoelectric element composing a detecting part of a bone-conduction microphone is cantilevered by being mechanically pressed into an element mounting opening of a supporting member in a microphone case while temporarily bonded to a connecting member including a signal communication spacer, a copper-made spacer, a tapered ground spacer, and an insulating spacer, and optionally reinforced and fixed by use of an adhesive. Hence, it is possible to provide a cantilevered bone-conduction microphone having a vibration detecting part that can be assembled with a simple structure by use of an eco-friendly bonding material, not a solder.
