  • Patent number: 7456867
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of storing or transferring an image along with an image-processing parameter for processing the image. When storing or transferring a second image for storage or transfer which has a second resolution for storage or transfer differing from a reference resolution, a reference image-processing parameter set according to a reference resolution image having the reference resolution is corrected based on a difference between the reference resolution and the second resolution, so that it becomes a second parameter corresponding to the second image. The second parameter obtained by the correction is stored or transferred along with the second image.

  • Patent number: 7278267
Abstract: A steam turbine plant partially utilizes a hydrocarbon fuel such as an LNG as a fuel to improve the efficiency of the plant. A steam turbine plant includes a boiler, a steam turbine, a feedwater system, and a superheating combustor. The boiler generates steam, and the steam turbine is driven by the steam generated in the boiler. The feedwater system recovers the steam exhausted from the steam turbine and supplies the steam to the boiler as a feedwater. The superheating combustor is provided between the boiler and the steam turbine, wherein fuel originated from hydrocarbon fuel and oxidizer are mixed with the steam generated in the boiler and combusted in the superheating combustor to increase the temperature of the steam.

  • Publication number: 20060271217
Abstract: A device to support studies of the positions in which parts necessary for assembly are placed and the positions in which assembly tasks are performed. A manufacturing study support device has a computation portion, a display portion which displays animations, and a storage portion which stores part animation data comprising three-dimensional shapes of parts, part storage positions which are three-dimensional coordinate data of positions at which the parts are stored, and assembly starting positions which are three-dimensional coordinate data of positions from which assembly tasks using the parts are started. The computation portion calculates part supply animation paths, taking the part storage positions as starting points and the assembly starting positions as ending points, and based on the part animation data and part supply animation paths, causes the display portion to display movement of the parts.

  • Publication number: 20060165467
Abstract: A printer having an opening/closing cover for providing access to a roll paper compartment, a peeler mechanism for peeling printed labels from a web and for dispensing the peeled printed labels from the printer and an opening and closing mechanism 50 which locks and unlocks the cover and a peeler unit 10 of the peeler mechanism in response to the manual operation of a manual operating member such as a release button 17 with a single easy operation. When the release button 17 is depressed into a first operating position 17B, a lock lever 52 of the opening/closing mechanism 50 slides from a locked position 52A to a released position 52B to disengage the lock lever 52 thus unlocking the opening/closing cover 9. At the same time, the sliding lock lever 52 pushes engaging claws 74a, 73a that lock or unlocks the peeler unit 10.
