  • Publication number: 20050212819
Abstract: In a main display area of a second correction screen on a monitor, a floating window is displayed together with a target image to correct, at a position designated by placing a reference point on an appropriate point on the target image. The floating window is split into a plural number of partial display sections, wherein those portions of the target image which have similar colors to a color of the reference point are displayed as target components of color correction, in such conditions as corrected based on different color correction parameter values from one another between the partial display sections. When one of the partial display sections is selected, all of those portions of the target image which correspond to the target components are displayed in the same color-corrected conditions as those displayed in the selected partial display section.

  • Publication number: 20050212914
Abstract: A digital still camera produces size-reduced image data of a JPEG file, which is converted into printable image data of a TIFF file according to a converting parameter. In the digital still camera, raw image data (CCD-RAW) is produced, corresponds to the JPEG data, and has an unreduced format. Images of the JPEG data are displayed in a playback manner. A customer order of an image among the displayed images to be printed is processed. JPEG data associated with the image of the customer order is adjusted according to a standard adjusting parameter. The standard adjusting parameter is modified into a first adjusting parameter. Raw image data associated with the image of the customer order is converted into TIFF data by image conversion according to the first adjusting parameter and/or a standard converting parameter being preset.

  • Publication number: 20050206734
Abstract: Raw image data obtained by shooting is thinned at a thinning rate, which is determined in accordance with a shooting scene, to produce simple raw image data. The thinning rate is determined such that necessary information for proper checking is maintained and unnecessary information for checking is thinned. Image correction is performed for the simple raw image data with predetermined processing parameters, and this data is converted into a simple display image to be shown on a monitor. An operator observes the simple display image to change the processing parameters. Whenever the processing parameters are changed, the image correction is performed for the simple raw image data with the changed processing parameters to update the simple display image. For the raw image data, image correction is performed with the finally determined processing parameters.

  • Publication number: 20050195291
Abstract: There is disclosed a photographic system, wherein a user designates photographic conditions of a digital still camera through a graphic user interface displayed on a monitor of a personal computer. The personal computer derives second photographic conditions from the photographic conditions designated by the user, and sets up the digital still camera with the second photographic conditions. Data of a still image taken under the second photographic conditions are sent from the digital still camera to the personal computer, to be processed for gradation compression and gradation conversion. The processed still image has similar gradation to that intended by the user in most brightness range, while white-saturation in a high brightness range and black-saturation in a low brightness range are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050174590
Abstract: A main display section is divided into a plurality of display areas (partial display areas). In each display area, image correction is carried out according to individual correction parameters. A target image for image correction is displayed in an image display area as a single image in a state that each section displayed in each display area has been corrected by using different parameters. In response to moving an indicator, which is displayed on an upper side of the main display section, along a slide bar, a size and a position of each display area is changed. An area size display bar, which shows a display range of each display area, is displayed on the upper side of the main display section. When one display area is selected for inputting the correction parameters, a section of the area size display bar, which corresponds to the selected display area, is highlighted.

  • Publication number: 20050153011
Abstract: To obtain a preprocessed sheet 14, molten resin 13 is cooled and, at the same time, a mirror surface is transferred to the resin by flatly pressing the resin between a first metallic endless belt 36 and a mirror surface of a third cooling roller 33. After the preprocessed sheet 14 is preheated, the sheet 14 is thermally stuck on an outer circumferential surface of a heating endless belt 57, and flatly pressed while heated between a fourth heating roller 54 and the heating endless belt 57, and then peeled off from the fourth heating roller 54 and then from the heating endless belt 57. Since the surface of the preprocessed sheet 14 is smooth, air is not involved between the heating endless belt 57 and the preprocessed sheet 14, and blister is not formed even in a high speed operation, so that the surface roughness is extremely low with the reduced haze, and high transparency as well as the high rigidity can be realized.
