  • Patent number: 4640943
Abstract: An inorganic composition of improved characteristics comprising at least one particulate inorganic substance whose surface is modified by an N-acylated basic amino acid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 1984
Date of Patent: February 3, 1987
    Assignee: Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
Inventors: Kenjiro Meguro, Koichiro Sagawa, Hirofumi Yokota, Masahiro Takehara
  • Patent number: 4478734
Abstract: A detergent composition containing at least one ampholytic surface active agent of N.sup..epsilon. -long-chain-acyl-N.sup..epsilon.,N.sup..epsilon. -dimethyllysine or N.sup..epsilon. -long-chain-acyl-N.sup..alpha.,N.sup..alpha.,N.sup..alpha. -trimethyllysine or salt thereof represented by formula (I) or (II) below, and an anionic surface active agent. This detergent composition is superior in solubility, detergency, and sudsing on account of the synergistic effect of the two types of different components. This detergent composition exhibits high detergency in both soft water and hard water, and is mild to the skin and hair. ##STR1## (where RCO denotes an aliphatic acyl group of carbon number 8 to 22.).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 25, 1983
Date of Patent: October 23, 1984
    Assignee: Ajinomoto Company Incorporated
Inventors: Keizo Ogino, Masahiro Takehara, Takeshi Miyoshi, Koichiro Sagawa
  • Patent number: 4273684
Abstract: A transparent detergent bar possessing good foaming power and detergency in hard water is formulated consisting essentially of at least one salt of a N-long chain acyl-optically active acidic amino acid neutralized with a basic amino acid in the ratio of 1 mol of the former to 1 to 2 mols of the latter and water in the range of 5 to 35% based on the weight of the bar apart from water. Other adjuvents may be present.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 22, 1980
Date of Patent: June 16, 1981
Assignees: Ajinomoto Co., Inc., Kawaken Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Tetsuya Nagashima, Yasunori Usuba, Takahisa Ogawa, Masahiro Takehara
  • Patent number: 3969087
Abstract: A wide variety of non-polar organic liquids are converted into gels by homogeneously admixing the non-polar organic liquids with a small amount of certain N-acyl amino acids or derivatives of N-acyl amino acids such as esters, amides and amine salts of the N-acyl amino acids.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 1975
