Abstract: Deterioration of performance of a separation column for liquid chromatograph due to changes in the functional groups during the preservation or application is prevented by filling a solution containing a component in the molecule with the same structure as that of the chemical function group of a packing material for the separation column as a filling liquid together with the packing material in the separation column, and also by washing the separation column with the same filling liquid as a washing solution after the analysis and retaining the washing solution therein, whereby the preservation stability of the separation column is improved and the separation column can be preserved at room temperature.

Abstract: A method of producing a metal mold is disclosed. A heat resistant sheet is forcedly brought into close contact with a product configuration surface of a matrix such as a wooden pattern, a resin model, or the like by making use of negative pressure. The matrix is brought into contact with a melt of a low melting-point alloy while that state of close contact is being maintained and the melt is allowed to cool as it is, thereby casting one part of the mold which makes up a pair. The matrix is then removed, and by using the one part of the mold thus cast as a new matrix, this new matrix is brought into contact with the melt of a low melting-point alloy via the heat resistant rubber sheet and is allowed to cool as it is, thereby casting a counterpart of the mold that makes up the pair.

Abstract: Physiologically active substances contained in a biological sample not subjected to deproteinization can be converted to their derivatives at a high efficiency without being adversely affected by the protein present in the sample, and accordingly the analysis of said physiologically active substances in the form of said derivatives can be performed at a high precision.

Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid chromatographic analyzer for analyzing a sample containing components for analysis by reacting the sample with a pre-labeling reagent to obtain a reaction mixture containing labeled components, concentrating the reaction mixture and separating the labeled components from each other, and detecting the separated labeled components by a detector, the steps of analysis being controlled to concurrently proceed by a control unit, thereby shortening the time for analysis per sample which analyzer includes: (a) a unit for storing samples containing components for analysis and a pre-labeling reagent for the components at a constant temperature, (b) a unit for reacting the sample with the pre-labeling reagent at a constant temperature to obtain a reaction mixture containing labeled components, (c) a unit for transferring one of the samples and the pre-labeling reagent from unit (a) to unit (b), (d) a unit for concentrating the reaction mixture and separating the labeled component
