Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing an emulsified dispersion of at least one color image forming coupler and at least one organic synthetic polymer, the silver halide color photographic material further containing at least one compound capable of forming a chemical bond with an aromatic amine developing agent or an oxidation product thereof remaining after color development processing to form a chemically inactive and substantially colorless compound in a hydrophilic colloid layer on the support in the same side in which the silver halide emulsion layer is positioned. In the silver halide color photographic material light fading and dark fading are controlled with good balance to provide excellent image preservability.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the photosensitive material contains at least one compound represented by General Formula (I), and at least one type of compound represented by General Formula (II) or an organometallic complex which has copper, cobalt, nickel, palladium or platinum as the central metal and which has at least one bidentate organic ligand, wherein general Formula (I) has the following formula: ##STR1## and general Formula (II) has the following formula:R.sub.10 --W--R.sub.11 (II)wherein the variables are defined in the specification.

Abstract: There is provided a color photograph improved in preservability that has been obtained by making chemically inactive the aromatic amine type color developing agents and their oxidized product that remains in the silver halide photographic materials after color development processing. The color photograph exhibits excellent performance in that its white background can be prevented from discoloring even during long-term storage or display, and deterioration of a dye image caused by the remaining color developing agent being taken into the photographic material after the color development, bleaching, and fixing processes, or due to its oxidized product, can be prevented.

Abstract: There is provided a silver halide color photographic material containing a 6-hydroxychroman derivative in combination with a specific coupler, i.e., a 5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler having an -SR group at the coupling position or a 5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler having an anilino group at the 3-position. The photosensitive material provides photographic images, quality of which is prevented from deteriorating as time passes. The photographic color images are free from discoloration or fading and do not form yellow stains on a white background.

Abstract: A silver halide color photosensitive material is disclosed. The photosensitive material comprises a support and a photographic layer. According to the present invention, the photographic layer contains a heterocyclic compound. The heterocyclic compound is, for example, represented by the following formula [I]: ##STR1## in which n is 1, 2 or 3; and each of Ra and Rb independently is an acyl group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfinyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a phosphoryl group, a sulfamoyl group or a carbamoyl group. Abstract: A method for processing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprises the steps of developing the light-sensitive material with a color developer containing an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, desilvering, washing with water and/or stabilizing the material in which at least one processing solution used in at least one step of the processing contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of sulfinic acids and salts and precursors thereof. This method makes it possible to effectively prevent the formation of stains due to not only the components of the light-sensitive material per se but also those attributable to the processing solutions, during processing or storage with time, and to enhance the stability of processing solutions.
