  • Publication number: 20030164981
Abstract: The printing data processing system searches for reference indication (i.e., link sources) in the received ML source data, and adds the page information for the linked objects to the ML source data. The page number on which the linked object is printed is printed after the printing of each link source term included when a ML source file, such as a home page. Consequently, when a home page is printed, for example, the user can easily arrive at the linked object from the link source in the printed document while the home page layout on the personal computer is kept intact.

  • Publication number: 20030162314
Abstract: An evaporation apparatus with high utilization efficiency for EL materials and excellent film uniformity is provided. The invention is an evaporation apparatus having a movable evaporation source and a substrate rotating unit, in which the space between an evaporation source holder and a workpiece (substrate) is narrowed to 30 cm or below, preferably 20 cm, more preferably 5 to 15 cm, to improve the utilization efficiency for EL materials. In evaporation, the evaporation source holder is moved in the X-direction or the Y-direction, and the workpiece (substrate) is rotated for deposition. Therefore, film uniformity is improved.

  • Publication number: 20030137325
Abstract: To provide a light emitting device high in reliability with a pixel portion having high definition with a large screen. According to a light emitting device of the present invention, on an insulator (24) provided between pixel electrodes, an auxiliary electrode (21) made of a metal film is formed, whereby a conductive layer (20) made of a transparent conductive film in contact with the auxiliary electrode can be made low in resistance and thin. Also, the auxiliary electrode (21) is used to achieve connection with an electrode on a lower layer, whereby the electrode can be led out with the transparent conductive film formed on an EL layer. Further, a protective film (32) made of a film containing hydrogen and a silicon nitride film which are laminated is formed, whereby high reliability can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20030134488
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a method for fabricating a semiconductor device having a peeled layer bonded to a base material with curvature. Particularly, the object is to provide a method for fabricating a display with curvature, more specifically, a light emitting device having an OLED bonded to a base material with curvature. An external force is applied to a support originally having curvature and elasticity, and the support is bonded to a peeled layer formed over a substrate. Then, when the substrate is peeled, the support returns into the original shape by the restoring force, and the peeled layer as well is curved along the shape of the support. Finally, a transfer object originally having curvature is bonded to the peeled layer, and then a device with a desired curvature is completed.

  • Publication number: 20030124912
Abstract: An electrical connection box is comprised of a wiring base group constituted by a minimum number of wiring bases required to realize a wiring pattern suitable to specifications of the connection box. Each wring base includes a base body, wing portions provided on an outer periphery of the base body having end faces each formed with a coupling portion to which another wiring base of the same construction can be coupled, and guide portions integral with the wing portions and projecting circumferentially therefrom. In receiving a wire fed from a wiring head in a desired wire groove of the wing portions via a corresponding wire guide groove of the guide portions, the guide portion concerned prevents the wire from being dislocated from the wire groove, resulting in increased wiring speed, shortened wiring time and reduced manufacturing costs.

  • Patent number: 6524117
Abstract: An electric connecting apparatus provides electrical connection of two electric components by fitting a plurality of male terminals into mating female terminals. If the male terminals have different lengths, for example, the male terminals are fitted into the female terminals in an order of a longer one to a shorter one. In this case, the inserting force that is needed for the entire array of male terminals at the time the two electric components are connected together does not reach a peak at one time, but the inserting forces for the individual male terminals reach peaks one after another. This can permit the two electric components to be connected together with a less labor.

  • Publication number: 20030015960
Abstract: An organic light emitting element which can employ non-sublimable (non-volatile) or insoluble materials while keeping the same level of light emission as prior art is provided. Dispersive particles (202a) of an insoluble organic material that is dispersed in a solvent (201) in which a soluble organic material (203a) is dissolved is applied to a substrate (200) that has an electrode. Then, the solvent (201) is vaporized by heat treatment to form a uniform film (203b) of the soluble organic material in which aggregations (clusters) of the insoluble organic material are scattered. Since the soluble organic material film (203b) is thoroughly uniform, defects such as breakdown can be avoided to make it a fully functional organic light emitting element.

  • Patent number: 6315579
Abstract: An electric connection box includes a casing formed with an inspection window, and an electrical connecting component accommodated in the casing. An identification mark attached to an outer face of the electrical connecting component indicates a production facility employed for production of the connecting component. Even when a number of electrical connecting components of the same kind are manufactured with use of a plurality of production facilities, it is possible to determine the facility employed for the production of the electrical connecting component accommodated in each individual electric connection box from outside of the connection box by visually confirming the identification mark attached to the electrical connecting component through the inspection window.
