  • Publication number: 20100164670
Abstract: A coil substrate structure which enhances heat dissipation and fully secures a mounting area is provided. A coil substrate structure 100 comprises a first coil substrate 110 having a primary transformer coil part 41; a second coil substrate 120, disposed on the first coil substrate 110, having a secondary transformer coil part 42; and a transformer core 130 for magnetically connecting the transformer coil parts 41, 42 to each other. The coil substrates 110, 120 are disposed on each other while being shifted from each other such that the transformer coil parts 41, 42 overlap each other as seen in the substrate thickness direction. This can increase the heat dissipation area of the coil substrates 110, 120. The transformer coil parts 41, 42 have a width in a transmission direction A narrower than a width in a direction B intersecting the transmission direction A as seen in the substrate thickness direction. This can reduce the multilayer area of the coil substrates 110, 120 in the transmission direction A.

  • Patent number: 7698308
Abstract: As in a normal storage system, an application run on a host issues a data write command or a data read command. A monitor unit monitors the host and a command issued by the host to detect a re-startable point to issue the re-startable point notification to a source storage system. Using the re-startable point as a momentum, the source storage system converts a command stored in a buffering unit into a command for transfer in which redundant data transfer has been curtailed to transfer the command for transfer to a destination storage system. The destination storage system applies the received command to a storage unit. At this time, the command for transfer is restored to an ordinary command which is applied.

  • Publication number: 20100088318
Abstract: Disclosed is a system in which an index registration unit registers an index, which will be used for search processing, as a partitioned index which is partitioned on a time series basis, and a search means reads indexes older than a specified point in time, which is used as a search base point, to perform search processing, thereby searching for information based on a point in time in the past.

  • Publication number: 20090094186
Abstract: An information retrieval system comprising: an information acquisition unit that acquires information as a subject of retrieval; a time information specifying unit that specifies time information owned by said information as the subject of retrieval; and an index updating unit that updates said index using the time information specified by said time information specifying unit; wherein said information retrieval system provides an information retrieving function of reproducing retrieved results at any time point by providing index for information retrieval with the time information and by using data of said index relevant to a reference point of retrieval identified at the time of retrieval.

  • Publication number: 20080154914
Abstract: Disclosed is a system including a storage that includes a high-speed response past data protection unit that holds high-speed response past data, a continuous data protection unit that performs continuous data protection, a data synthesis unit that synthesizes data using the data in the high-speed response past data protection unit and data in the continuous data protection unit, and a past data updating unit that creates data corresponding to a predetermined trigger in advance. The past data updating unit restores the data corresponding to the predetermined trigger in advance. The data synthesis unit returns the high-speed response past data stored and held in the high-speed response past data protection unit. For a request to access data other than the one at the predetermined trigger, the data synthesis unit returns the data synthesized.

  • Publication number: 20070174275
Abstract: An information managing system includes a parameter setting unit for setting a parameter representative of an attribute of a user and information to be retrieved, and an information relevance space generator for generating an information relevance space representative of information indicating a relevance between the user and the information to be retrieved, based on the parameter set by the parameter setting unit.

  • Publication number: 20070106712
Abstract: Replication between master storage and replica storage is performed via an arbitration apparatus. The arbitration apparatus controls transmission of update information from the master storage to the replica storage to thereby rationalize the updating sequence of replica storage.

  • Publication number: 20070055836
Abstract: A concealment apparatus is provided between a replication source storage and a replication destination storage, a separation between the replication source storage and the replication destination storage is replaced with a separation between the concealment apparatus and the replication destination storage and, thereby, the separation between the replication source storage and the replication destination storage is concealed from the replication source storage.

  • Publication number: 20060265431
Abstract: Disclosed is a replication system which includes non-adjacent difference information holding unit placed at a location other than that of the intermediate device. Among updates that have been performed in a storage unit on a normal channel, an update not yet reflected to a storage unit on a standby channel is recorded in the non-adjacent difference information holding unit.

  • Publication number: 20060218203
Abstract: After a backup of master storage is created, a difference map corresponding to the backup is created. Updates made by a host after creating the backup are recorded in the difference map in the master storage. Backup data is restored to replica storage. A pair of the master storage and the replica storage is created. Data in update locations, generated after creating the backup of the master storage, is transferred to the replica storage based on the difference map to update data in the replica storage and the replica storage is synchronized with the master storage for replication.

  • Publication number: 20050289197
Abstract: A replication system rapidly switches from a normal-system site to a standby-system site in the event of a problem and reliably maintains functions, and moreover, reduces drops in performance. A first site provides system functions that accompany writing and reading of data. A relay transfer device receives update information from the first site, causes completion of processes for replication in the first site, and continuously executes processes for successively transferring the update information to a second site. The second site receives the update information of the first site and applies this update information to itself to retain a replica of the data of the first site. If, when executing a write request command or a read request command to provide at least a portion of the system functions, the second site has not yet retained the most recent data that are the target of the command, the second site acquires the necessary update information and then executes the command.
