  • Publication number: 20120281149
Abstract: A mobile device stores a TV application for serving as a remote control capable of controlling a TV receiver. The mobile device starts the process of starting the TV application and transmits, to the TV receiver, control signals to turn on the TV receiver before the TV application has been started. More particularly, the mobile device transmits the control signals to turn on the TV receiver while performing the process of starting the TV application. When the mobile device has started the TV application and then the TV receiver has been turned on in normal mode, a user can control the TV receiver by using the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20120274110
Abstract: In a seat, in a state in which tilting of a back main frame around a tilting center is locked by a reclining mechanism, a lower end of a back joint link is turnably joined to a vehicle side. Thus, turning of a first link, a back sub frame and the back joint link is locked, and operation of a back link mechanism is locked. Therefore, a supporting rigidity from rear side of a back side portion can be enhanced by the back link mechanism (the back sub frame), and a crew sitting in the seat can be thoroughly retained.

  • Patent number: 8235466
Abstract: In a seat (10), in a state in which tilting of a back main frame (16) around a tilting center (16A) is locked by a reclining mechanism (18), a lower end of a back joint link (26) is turnably joined to a vehicle side. Thus, turning of a first link (22), a back sub frame (24) and the back joint link (26) is locked, and operation of a back link mechanism (14) is locked. Therefore, a supporting rigidity from rear side of a back side portion (12B) can be enhanced by the back link mechanism (14) (the back sub frame (24)), and a crew sitting in the seat (10) can be thoroughly retained.

  • Patent number: 8231174
Abstract: When a seat (10) is to be stowed, a seat pad (28) is moved toward a seat (10) reverse side, pad side portions (32) are rotated toward the seat (10) reverse side with respect to a pad center portion (30), and a center portion (12) and side portions (14) of the seat (10) are contracted. Here, interlockingly with contraction of the side portions (14), a skin (42) is bent and folded in at portions covering distal ends of vertical walls (22) of a wall panel (18) and at second fixing portions (42B). Due thereto, slack of the skin (42) at seat (10) lateral direction end surfaces can be taken in.

  • Publication number: 20110258737
Abstract: A three-step screening of selection for resistance against pathogenic bacteria infection, selection for resistance against pathogenic fungi infection, and selection for sensitivity to salicylic acid was carried out on Arabidopsis thaliana lines highly expressing rice full-length cDNA (rice-FOX Arabidopsis lines) which were prepared by using a FOX hunting system. As a result, one Arabidopsis thaliana line (line K15424) selected in all of the three types of screening was successfully selected. Line K15424 carries a rice full-length cDNA. Rice overexpressing AK070024 was produced, and resistance against rice bacterial leaf blight was assayed using the T1 generation. As a result, it was confirmed that AK070024-overexpressing rice is resistant against bacterial leaf blight and blast.

  • Patent number: 7970515
Abstract: Power is supplied to an ECU (20) from an on-vehicle battery (41). When an ignition switch (42) is switched from the OFF state to the ON state upon vehicle engine start, the ECU (20) is switched from the power saving mode to the normal mode and a CPU (31) executes initial processing. Moreover, when a user puts on a seat belt and a seat belt switch (44) is switched from the ON state to the OFF state, the ECU (20) is switched from the power saving mode to the normal mode and the CPU (31) executes the initial processing. Thus, the initial processing is executed at a comparatively short interval and it is possible to improve the reliability of the CPU (31).

  • Patent number: 7886600
Abstract: A motion sensor which can easily and accurately detect bearing, attitude and acceleration in any of three-dimensional directions and a portable telephone using the same. The motion sensor comprises three magnetic sensing parts for detecting magnetic field strength in 3-axis directions orthogonal to one another, and three acceleration sensing parts for detecting accelerations in the 3-axis directions. Each of the acceleration sensing parts has a magnet body constituted to be able to displace depending on acceleration, and a magnet displacement detection head for detecting a displacement of the magnet body. The three magnetic sensing parts and the three magnet displacement detection heads are all made of the same type of magnetic detection elements which operate based on common operation principles. The three magnetic sensing parts and the three acceleration sensing parts are integrated into one modular package together with one electronic circuit for controlling these six magnetic detection elements.

  • Publication number: 20100001871
Abstract: An information request portion receives an information request signal transmitted to an information response portion at its own receiving port. The information request portion comprises at least either a power supply system anomaly determination portion or a ground anomaly determination portion. The power supply system anomaly determination portion determines a short-circuit between a signal line and a power supply system in a case where the information request signal received at the receiving port is always fixed to a H (high) level. The ground anomaly determination portion determines a short-circuit between a signal line and a ground in a case where the information request signal received at the receiving port is always fixed to a L (Low) level. Consequently, the anomaly region of the signal line connects the information request portion and the information response portion so that bidirectional digital communications are possible or the cause of the anomaly is specified.
