Abstract: A stator manufacturing method that includes a lead wire bending process of inserting a plurality of concentrically wound coils into slots, each of the concentrically wound coils being formed by winding a flat conductive wire for a plurality of turns, each of the slots being formed between every two adjacent teeth extending radially inward from an annular back yoke of a stator core, and bending lead wire portions of the inserted concentrically wound coils projecting in an axial direction from an end surface of the stator core, and a second bending process of bending the lead wire portions using the connection parts as fulcrums so that the lead wire portions approach the end surface of the stator core along the circumferential direction of the stator core after the first bending process.

Abstract: The image processing apparatus includes a candidate image acquisition unit acquiring candidate images for use in creating a composite image, a processed image determination unit determining about whether candidate images are unprocessed original images or processed images, an image count determination unit determining about whether or not the number of original images included in the candidate images is equal to or greater than a threshold value set in advance based on the determination result by the processed image determination unit, and a use image determination unit which determines when the number of original images is equal to or greater than the threshold value, only the original images are used in creating the composite image and determines when the number of original images is less than the threshold value, the original images and the processed images are used in creating the composite image or stops the creation of the composite image.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a storage device, after transitioning to a read only mode, performs an authentication process of authenticating a user of the storage device once with respect to power on the storage device, and reads data from a first area according to a read request regardless of management information if the authentication process succeeds in user authentication. The read only mode is a mode in which reading data from the first area and a second area is allowed while writing data into the first and second areas is prohibited.

Abstract: In the image processing device, the image processing method and the recording medium, the instruction acquiring section acquires the instruction input by the first user. The image group selecting section selects, as the second image group, a part of images from the first image group owned by the first user based on the instruction. The image analyzer carries out image analysis on images contained in the first image group. The memory controller includes a management information generating unit which generates command information for every command received from a host through the host interface and a digital signature calculating unit which generates a digital signature from the command information using a secret key. The management information generating unit generates management information which contains the command information and the digital signature for the every command.

Abstract: Metal foil base material placed on lower blade is first restricted under pressure by lower blade and pad and then cut by a shearing action based on an engagement of lower blade side cutting edge and upper blade side cutting edge. Resin face sheets are fixed to the top surface of lower blade and the pressing surface of pad, the face sheets having a larger friction coefficient than that of these surfaces. By frictional forces imparted by face sheets, metal foil base material is prevented from being dragged and moved by the pressing force of the upper blade prior to cutting. Consequently, the occurrence of “burr”, “roll-up”, and so forth is eliminated thereby ensuring a good cutting quality.

The stator includes a stator core having slots formed along an axial direction at a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction, and a coil formed by combining a plurality of rectangular wires that have a plurality of straight portions being disposed in the slots and arranged side by side in the circumferential direction and in a radial direction. A restriction jig having a number of restriction pieces is disposed on a first-end side of the coil in the axial direction. The coil is inserted into the stator core from the first-end side in the axial direction to dispose the straight portions in the slots. Circumferential positions of the straight portions are restricted along the axial direction through contact with the restriction pieces by relatively moving the restriction jig and the coil in the axial direction.

Abstract: A bending apparatus for performing accurate non-destructive bending of material includes first and second jigs that are rotatable about a rotary shaft and that bend the material attached to the jigs as they rotate relative to each other. The first jig includes a bending section that is arranged offset from a rotary center to a rotating side of the material and that has a partially cylindrical surface with a radius of curvature corresponding to the radius of curvature of an inner peripheral surface of the material. Each of the first and second jigs has a suppressing section for suppressing displacement of the material, and a bending center of the material is arranged such that the material is not displaced relative to the first and second jigs when the material is bent.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a stator and manufacturing method of the stator in which the coil conducts of the stator have three phases (a U phase, V phase, and W phase), which are arranged in a distributed winding form in a plurality of slots of a stator core. The coil conductors of the three phases each include a slot conductor portion that is disposed in the slot, and a pair of coil end conductor portions disposed on both axial sides of the stator core to connect the slot conductor portions disposed in the different slots.
