  • Patent number: 7150732
Abstract: A disposable diaper includes antislip elements having a frictional force higher than those of end flaps and side flaps. These antislip elements are attached to portions of the end flap extending immediately outside transversely opposite ends of a waist elastic member on the side of these portions facing away from the diaper wearer's skin. The waist elastic member is, in turn, attached to the end flap.

  • Patent number: 7103741
Abstract: A tape cassette of this invention is equipped with a memory capable of accommodating at least management information including identification information unique to each tape cassette. A magnetic tape housed in the tape cassette is written with identification information that is supposed to be the same in content as the memory-stored identification information. When the tape cassette is loaded into a tape drive system, the system acquires both the memory-stored identification information and the tape-stored identification information to determine a match therebetween. A mismatch between the two sets of identification information, if detected, is interpreted to mean that the tape cassette has been tampered with, and read and write operations on the cassette are restricted accordingly. This enhances security against fraudulent uses of the tape drive system.

  • Patent number: 7100010
Abstract: A tape cassette of this invention is equipped with a memory capable of accommodating management information. Where the tape cassette is used, a MIC mode switch is written to a predetermined area on the magnetic tape held in the cassette. That item of information specifies whether or not the use of the management information held in the memory is mandatory upon write or read operations to or from the magnetic tape. A check is made on the consistency between the MIC mode switch read from the magnetic tape on the one hand and a result of access to the memory on the other hand. If an inconsistency is detected, that is interpreted as something fraudulent having been committed on the tape cassette. In such a case, read and write operations on the illegitimate cassette are restricted. This improves security of a tape drive system running the tape cassette.

  • Patent number: 7089873
Abstract: An embroidery frame carrier for an embroidery sewing machine moves an embroidery frame holding work cloth to be embroidered in two mutually perpendicular directions. The embroidery frame carrier includes a carriage, a carrier mechanism freely moving the carriage in the two directions, an engagement mechanism including an engagement groove formed on either one of the carriage or the connector of the embroidery frame and an engagement mounted on the other so as to engage the engagement groove, the engagement mechanism engaging the connector to the carriage so that the connector is slidable on the carriage, a lock portion of the carriage to lock the connector of the embroidery frame to a predetermined location, a lock mechanism to lock the connector engaged by the engagement mechanism, and a lock member of the lock mechanism to be switched between a pressed position and a released position.

  • Patent number: 7037489
Abstract: Skin external agent compositions and drugs characterized by containing fumaric acid diester derivatives represented by following general formula (1), wherein R1 represents C1-4 alkylene; R2 and R3 represent each liner or branched C1-8 alkyl; and n is an integer of 2 to 5; which provide epidermal barrier function potentiating agents and skin external agent compositions having a high safety, quickly relieving epidermal permeation barrier function failures and having an effect of maintaining the skin in a cosmetologically healthy state; agents to be used together with HB-EFG expression inducing agents accelerating epidermal turnover, amphiregulin expression inhibitors regulating excessive epidermal proliferation, and retinoic acid or its derivative preventing skin chapping caused by retinoic acid or its derivative; and skin aging relieving agents capable of ameliorating depression in the skin metabolism and thinning in association with aging.

  • Patent number: 7016137
Abstract: A tape cassette of this invention is equipped with a memory capable of accommodating management information. The memory retains an MIC logical format type designating a format state, either formatted or unformatted, of the magnetic tape. A check is made on the consistency between the format state designated by the MIC logical format type and the format state estimated by reading data from the magnetic tape. If an inconsistency is detected, that is interpreted to mean that the tape cassette has been tampered with, and read and write operations on the cassette are controlled accordingly. This enhances security against fraudulent uses of a tape drive system loaded with the tape cassette.

  • Patent number: 6908698
Abstract: In a composite material having a construction that on the surface of a substrate is formed a primer layer having an appropriate function, and a photocatalyst layer is laminated on the primer layer, decreasing of the durability of the film due to the existence of the primer layer is prevented. Primer layer 14, photocatalyst layer 16, and hydrophilic layer 18 are laminated on one surface of transparent glass substrate 12 in this order. Primer layer 18, which makes up for suppressing sodium dispersion, is composed of a mixture or double oxide comprising an inorganic oxide such as SiO2 and Al2O3, and lanthanoide oxide such as La, Ce, and Pr, or of Ta2O5 or ZrO2. Photocatalyst layer 16 comprises, e.g., the photocatalyst, TiO2. Hydrophilic layer 18 comprises, e.g., porous SiO2.

  • Publication number: 20050027279
Abstract: A disposable diaper is provided with elastically stretchable waist areas extending in a transverse direction along respective end portions of front and rear waist regions and a pair of elastically stretchable wing areas extending outward in the transverse direction from the side edge portions of the rear waist region. The side edge portions of the rear waist region are respectively interposed between the stretchable waist area and the stretchable wing areas. The stretchable wing areas have a transverse stretch stress higher than a transverse stretch stress of the stretchable waist area, so the tensile force exerted on the stretchable wing areas is segmentalized and restrained by the side edge portions of the rear waist region.

  • Patent number: 6818802
Abstract: A topsheet for a disposable wearing article that is formed with a plurality of fine openings each having an area of about 0.16-5 mm2 and a part of the peripheral edge of each opening is protuberated upward from an upper surface of the topsheet. The topsheet is thereby improved so that body fluids can be rapidly absorbed and stuffiness as well as eruption of the wearer's skin can be reliably avoided.
