  • Patent number: 7478972
Abstract: A rotational supporting mechanism, which supports a main body and a cover, includes an eccentric cam. The main body and the cover are superposed in a closed position. From the closed position, the cover is rotated 180 degrees and stopped at a 180-degree rotational position in an open position. The eccentric cam rotates eccentrically. The pressing means presses a cam surface of the eccentric cam in a direction of a line connecting a portion of the eccentric cam corresponding to the closed position and a portion of the eccentric cam corresponding to the open position when the main body and the cover are superposed in the closed position. Rotation of the cam is stopped in the open position and the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20080318645
Abstract: An excessive rotation preventing structure for a rotation supporting mechanism, which has no torque loss while ensuring thinness in a height direction, is provided. A portable terminal is also provided. The excessive rotation preventing structure is provided with a rotation stopping means. At the time of rotating and stopping a cover supported on a main body by a shaft, at the same open position where the cover is normally or reversely turned 180 degrees in a flat plane direction, the rotation stopping means rotates and stops the cover by moving one locking member to a move control position for open positioning when the cover is rotated in an opening direction and the locking members of the main body and the cover are correspondingly locked at an open position corresponding part.

  • Publication number: 20080101854
Abstract: A rotation support mechanism and a portable terminal having a rotation support function that allows a cover to semi-automatically open from a closed position to an open position in a horizontal or a vertical position, enabling a user to open the cover to a desired open position by one hand and one-touch operation. The rotation support mechanism allows the cover to rotate from the closed position at which a vertically long body and the cover are closed in a superposed manner to the open position at which the cover is stopped after it is rotated by a certain angle in a plane in which the body and the cover are superposed on each other. The rotation of the cover integral with an eccentric cam can be stopped at rotation positions of multiple stages in the horizontal or the vertical position by a pressing means that presses, in the plane, the cam surface of the eccentric cam.

  • Publication number: 20060098813
Abstract: The present invention has improved opening operationality of a cover, which enables a reduction in thickness of a rotational supporting mechanism performing an opening and closing operations of the cover in a planar direction, and enables a user to open the cover with a single touch of one hand. Therefore, in the present invention, when a pressing means, which presses against a cam surface of an eccentric cam that rotates in a planar direction, is fitted to one portion on the cam surface corresponding to a 180-degree rotated position corresponding to the open position or the other portion corresponding to the closed position, a rotational position of the eccentric cam is controlled to stop the rotation of the cover.

  • Patent number: 5699360
Abstract: Digitally-compressed audio and image data of a plurality of programs (logical channels) are distributed and superimposed for every horizontal synchronizing signal period together with identification information of each of the programs in place of a luminance signal of an analog video signal of each of physical channels. Each of the physical channels is superimposed in its frequency and distributed from a signal transmission facility of a broadcasting station. At the receiving side, a desired physical analog channel is tuned and the compressed digital audio and image data superimposed on the tuned video signal are selected and taken as desired logical channel data in reference to program identification information, and the compressed digital audio and image data are decoded to obtain their original audio and moving images.

  • Patent number: 5436848
Abstract: A robot (12) takes a wafer (3f) out of an indexer (1) and then transports the same to a heat processing part (41). A wafer (3e), which has already introduced in the heat processing part (41) is took out thereof by the robot (5). The wafer (3f) is introduced in the heat processing part (41) after a waiting time (18a) so that an excess heat processing in the heat processing part (41) can be avoided. The wafer (3e) is transported to a processing part (43) and introduced therein by the robot (5). After the robot (5) repeats the similar processings in processing parts (13, 42, 44), it returns to the wafer transferring robot (12) to receive a next wafer. At that time, the robot (5) waits for a predetermined time thereby a cycle time is adjusted. After the waiting, the robot (5) takes out the wafer (3f), which has been introduced in the heat processing part (41), out thereof. Since the cycle time is set in common for different lots, the waiting times (18a, 18b) are set individually for each lot.

  • Patent number: RE35414
Abstract: An interframe video data coding and decoding apparatus utilizes a differential amplitude suppression circuit in combination with a block encoder and a motion detector to non-linearly suppress amplitude values of interframe differential block data based on a motion detection threshold value determined by an encoding control circuit. The determined threshold value is based on the amount of encoded data being stored in a transmission buffer memory. The suppressed amplitude differential block data is added to corresponding blocks in a frame memory to update the contents of the frame memory during each frame of input video data. In another embodiment, vector quantization encoders are utilized to transmit a motion vector index with encoded frame differential data.
