    Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus for measuring the shape of the cornea of the eye, capable of measuring the pupil in a natural state of vision is provided. An illuminating light source illuminates a cornea shape measuring pattern with red or infrared light to project an image of the cornea shape measuring pattern on the cornea of the eye, and a CCD camera picks up the image of the cornea shape measuring pattern formed on the cornea.
