  • Publication number: 20040108754
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a rear structure of a vehicle body that can ensure high body stiffness and suspension stiffness and that can disperse impact load to the whole body. In the rear structure of a vehicle body, a crossmember 20 bridged between right and left rear side frames 1, 5 is approximately an X-shape in plan view having a first crossmember 21 and a second crossmember 22, and at least one of the front ends of the first and second crossmembers and the rear ends of the first and second crossmembers is directly connected to a structure to be equipped with a suspension.

  • Publication number: 20040080188
Abstract: A rear vehicle body structure has rear side frames extending longitudinally, C and D pillars extending substantially vertically, a first cross member connecting at a front end thereof to one of the rear side frames in the vicinity of one of the C pillars for shifting to a rear of the body as separating from the one of the rear side frames and then connecting at a rear end thereof to the other rear side frame, and a second cross member connecting at a front end thereof to the other rear side frame in the vicinity of the other C pillar for shifting to the rear of the body as separating from the other rear side frame to cross the first cross member and then connecting at a rear end thereof to the one of the rear side frame.

  • Patent number: 5590630
Abstract: There is provided a system for controlling an idling speed of an engine, comprising: engine speed detecting means for detecting an actual engine speed, integration amount calculating means for calculating an integration amount based on an error between the actual engine speed and a predetermined target idling speed, reference parameter calculating means for calculating a reference parameter based on the actual engine speed and the integration amount, target physical amount providing means for providing an appropriate target physical amount which takes a balance between the engine torque and the engine friction around the predetermined target idling speed, depending on the reference parameter, fuel injection amount calculating means for calculating a fuel injection amount in accordance with the target physical amount, the fuel injection amount being injected by the injector, and opening degree determining means for determining an opening degree of the idling speed control valve in accordance with the target ph

  • Patent number: 5564387
Abstract: There is provided a system for controlling an idling speed of in engine, comprising an engine speed sensor provided to detect an engine speed and produce an engine speed signal indicative thereof, and a control unit provided to derive a physical amount corresponding to an engine torque being balanced with an engine friction around a predetermined target idling speed in response to the engine speed signal, and calculate a fuel injection amount to be injected by an injector and an opening degree of an idling speed control valve, both appropriate to the derived physical amount.
