  • Patent number: 7172400
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved multi-mold apparatus for manufacturing friction members, with each mold composed of a set comprising a first (top) mold, a second (bottom) mold, and a frame mold. The apparatus is capable of correcting any misalignment in the mountings of the plurality of molds and accurately aligning the molds by movably supporting at least one of the first mold, the second mold and the third mold by first, second and frame bases, respectively, so that the base and molds are movable laterally, in a direction perpendicular to the direction of advance. Projections are formed on one of the first mold and either the frame mold or the back plate and bonding through-holes are formed on the remaining mold or the back plate, so that the projections engage the holes so as to align the first mold and the frame mold accurately.

  • Publication number: 20020141673
Abstract: A compact rolling bearing with a rotation sensor is proposed which has a shortened axial length of a housing for mounting the rotation sensor. The rolling bearing comprises a rotating bearing ring and a fixed bearing ring, and the rotation sensor comprises a rotating element mounted to the rotating bearing ring and a detecting element mounted on the fixed bearing ring so as to oppose the rotating element, and an electric circuit board. The electric circuit board has a flexibility. With this arrangement, it is possible to mount the electric circuit board in a curved state in a limited space on a peripheral wall of the sensor housing, and thus to shorten the axial length of the sensor housing. This provides a compact rolling bearing with the rotation sensor. Another embodiment has a magnetic encoder, the binder for which is heat-resistant nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber or silicone rubber.

  • Patent number: 6333139
Abstract: There are provided a circuit-forming substrate comprising a long stainless steel foil having formed on one surface or both surfaces thereof a polyimide resin layer wholly or partially, and a circuit substrate formed by using the circuit-forming substrate, wherein a conductor layer is finely patterned on the circuit-forming substrate. The circuit-forming substrate sufficiently satisfies low cost, high density and high reliability, scarcely causes warping of the substrate itself, and has excellent workability.

  • Patent number: 6322911
Abstract: The present invention provides a spin-valve magnetic resistance sensor in which an underlayer, which has a second underlayer film with an fcc structure consisting of an alloy formed by combining one or more elements selected from a set consisting of elements of group VIIIa and group Ib of the periodic table, and one or more elements selected from a set consisting of elements of groups IIa, IVa, Va, VIa, IIb, Ib and IVb of the periodic table, such as NiFeCrTi or NiCrTi, etc., is formed on the substrate, and a magnetic resistance (MR) film which has an antiferromagnetic layer consisting of a Pt1−xMnx alloy or an Ir1−xMnx alloy is laminated on top of this underlayer. The composition ratio of the element with the smallest free energy of oxide formation among the elements contained in the alloy of the second underlayer film is in the range of 0.1 atomic % to 15 atomic %.

  • Patent number: 5270356
Abstract: A water based coating composition which gives a coating being capable of withstanding heat treatment of food for sterilization, particularly, retorting treatment, having sufficiently high hardness against scratching in transferring and transportation, having processability sufficient to withstand the formation of cans having a variety of forms, and having little organic solvent content. The above water based coating composition contains, as resin components, 20 to 80 parts by weight of a water based acrylic resin, 20 to 50 parts by weight of a water based amino resin and 5 to 30 parts by weight of an amine-modified epoxy resin.
