  • Publication number: 20020098763
Abstract: A polishing and cleaning sheet for hard surfaces which comprises a sheet substrate impregnated with a polishing cleaner, wherein the substrate is a laminate comprising (A) a fiber aggregate comprising 50 to 100% by weight of ultrafine fibers having a fineness of 0.01 to 1.2 dtex and (B) a flexible material comprising 50 to 100% by weight of hydrophobic fibers and has a maximum absorption capacity of 4 to 15 times its own weight, the substrate is impregnated with 1 to 5 parts by weight, per part by weight of the substrate, of the polishing cleaner, provided that the amount of the polishing cleaner infiltrated in the substrate is not exceed 80% of the maximum absorption capacity, and the polishing cleaner comprises 0.01 to 10% by weight of a water-repellent compound and 50 to 99% by weight of water.

  • Patent number: 6148653
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a rolling system and a rolling method capable of avoiding the occurrence of a pinch fold by effectively preventing the zigzag movement of a rear end portion of a material to be rolled. The rotational speeds (rolling speeds) of work rolls (2) of a rolling mill stand (F.sub.1) from which the rear end of a plate material (6) releases, and a succeeding rolling mill stand (F.sub.2) are controlled to the same value. Moreover, the tension between the rolling mill stand (F.sub.1) and the rolling mill stand (F.sub.2) is controlled to zero. The difference in tension between a work side and a drive side can be made null between the rolling mill stand (F.sub.1) and the rolling mill stand (F.sub.2). Similarly, the difference in tension between the work side and the drive side can be made null between the plurality of rolling mill stands (F.sub.2 to F.sub.n) during release of the rear end of the plate material (6).

  • Patent number: 6117830
Abstract: A liquid detergent composition for cleaning hard surfaces comprising, a liquid washing medium, and globular particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.01 to 15 .mu.m which are insoluable in the liquid washing medium, with the provisos that the content of the globular particles in the composition is 0.1 to 30% by wt. and that the viscosity of the composition is 2 to 500 cps determined at 20.degree. • Patent number: 5758530
Abstract: A hot rolling line is constructed by a pair or a plurality of pairs of rolling rolls disposed opposingly on an upper side and on a lower side of a workpiece (1) to be rolled that is pinched in between the rollers. A descaling apparatus (5) has jet flow nozzles disposed so that two jetted flows, being liquid, gas or plasma, are opposing flows so as to collide with the surface of a strip on the upstream side of the rolling rolls and then collide with each other. The jet flow nozzles are disposed, so as to incline in a direction to face each other so that the angle of inclination is 15.degree. to 60.degree. from the horizontal direction of the strip surface.

  • Patent number: 5648155
Abstract: The present invention provides a thin magnetic tape for allowing a long play without degrading electro-magnetic transfer characteristics and mechanical strength of the magnetic tape. The magnetic tape comprises a base film, an an under layer provided on the base film, and a magnetic layer containing magnetic particles coated on the under layer. The under layer contains magnetic plate-particles each having a configuration such that a ratio of a major axis to a minor axis observed in a plate-like surface is preferred to be approximately 1 and a ratio of the major axis to a thickness off the magnetic particles is to be 5.about.10 so that the under layer has Young's modulus of not less than 2.0.times.10.sup.10 N/m.sup.2 in a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape and has virtually the same value in a traversing direction thereof.
