Abstract: A conductive article includes a substrate and a conductive layer that is formed on the surface of the substrate and contains fine conductive fibers that are dispersed in the conductive layer. One end of the fibers is fixed to the substrate and other end of the fibers protrude from the top surface of the conductive layer. Alternatively, a middle portion of the fibers may protrude from the top surface or fixed to the substrate. Even though the fibers are dispersed well enough to avoid the aggregation of the fibers, portions of the fibers are located close to each other enough to provide electrical contact.

Abstract: A portable tool includes a motive power section, a mechanical section driven by the motive power section, and an outer frame covering at least the motive power section and the mechanical section. The outer frame has an outer peripheral surface on which a label is mountable and a front end, a cover made from a light transmissive material is removably disposed to the outer frame for protectingly covering the label. The portable tool further includes a front cap made from an elastic material, wherein the front cap is removably fitted to the front end and prevents the cover from being displaced relative to the outer frame.

The cover is made from a transparent resin and is removably disposed to the outer frame for protectingly covering the label. A sheet containing a plurality of labels having colors or pattern different from each other is provided. A user can select one of the labels.

Abstract: A conductive article includes a substrate made of a thermoplastic resin, and a transparent and conductive layer comprising carbon nanotubes and formed on at least one face of the substrate. The carbon nanotubes are electrical in contact with each other and dispersed so that each of the carbon nanotubes is separated form other carbon nanotubes, or that each of bundles of the carbon nanotubes is separated from other bundles.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus includes a fixing roller, a separator, and spacers. The fixing roller is heated while rotating. The fixing roller is in pressure contact with a recording medium that is advancing so that the developer deposited on the recording medium is fused. The separator extends across a path of the recording medium so that a predetermined amount of gap is defined between the separator and the fixing roller. The separator guides the recording medium to separate from the fixing roller. The spacers are disposed at longitudinal end portions of the separator outside of the path between the fixing roller and the separator to define the predetermined amount of gap. The spacers are movable in a direction at an angle with a surface of the recording medium. The urging member urges the spacers against the fixing roller.

Abstract: A cover which covers outer peripheries of fastening screws are disposed on an outer periphery of a hammer case. A stopper which detachably positions and fixes the cover to the outer periphery of the hammer case is disposed.
