  • Patent number: 8676531
Abstract: A measured value for a PMV within a living space is sent to a comfort efficacy evaluating device. Occupancy information (the current number of occupants N) in the living space is sent to the comfort efficacy evaluating device. The comfort efficacy evaluating device calculates a comfort index P as P=1.0?|PMV|/3, and this comfort index P is weighted by the number of occupants N at the time that the comfort index P was taken. In this case, if the number of occupants is relatively high, the weighting is high, and if the number of occupants is relatively low, then the weighting is low. Additionally, the weighted comfort index P is integrated over an evaluation interval, and thus integrated value, or a weighted average based on this integrated value, is used as a comfort efficacy index TP. An evaluation of the efficacy of energy conservation can be performed in the same way, taking into account the current occupancy of the living space.

  • Publication number: 20140071434
Abstract: The optical tomographic image acquisition apparatus is based on FD-OCT. A detection unit 50A which detects interference light includes a lens 51, a reflection type diffraction grating 52A, a deflection unit 53, a lens 54), and a light receiving unit 55. The interference light collimated by the lens 51 is divided by the reflection type diffraction grating 52A. Light of each wavelength is output in a different direction according to the wavelength, deflected by the deflection unit 53, and focused on a light receiving surface of the light receiving unit 55 by the lens 54. The optical tomographic image of the object is acquired based on a correspondence relationship between a light radiation position for the object and a deflection angle by the deflection unit 53 and on optical power distribution detected by the light receiving unit 55.

  • Publication number: 20140043686
Abstract: Provided is an immersion diffraction element that prevents decrease of diffraction efficiency thereof so as to satisfy optical performance. A reflection type diffraction element is made of a material transmitting a light, beam having a predetermined wavelength. An echelle diffraction grating covered with a reflecting film that prevents transmission of the light beam is formed on one surface of the material. A diffraction grating is formed off in a repeated manner, a blazed surface facing incident light and a non-blazed surface connecting the blazed surface to a neighboring blazed surface. An angle formed between the blazed surface and the non-blazed surface is an acute angle. A defect generated at a grating vertex of the blazed surface fails in a shadow of the neighboring blazed surface so as to prevent the incident light from becoming scattered light due to the defect portion.
