    Abstract: A probe is provided for electrically testing high-density printed circuit boards on a bed of nails test fixture. An elongated probe is provided with a fixed contact point interfacing with the PCB under test and a spring loaded probe on the opposite end of the probe barrel contact the interface between the test fixture and test equipment. A mechanism is provided which maintains the probe in precise perpendicular orientation to the X and Y planes while permitting movement of the probe along its axis in the Z plane.

    Abstract: An apparatus for testing integrity of a printed circuit board is provided which employs a probe with moveable and/or fixed needle portions at its ends and a flange, probe retention boards having apertures for sliding the probe through, an interface board disposed parallel to the probe retention boards. The flange is disposed between the retention boards and the interface board. The needle portion provided away from the interface board comes in contact with the printed circuit board for testing. No socket is used in the apertures for accommodating the probe in the apertures. An assembly kit including these parts are provided for assembly by a user.

    Abstract: A packaged roll-shaped silver halide photosensitive material comprising a winding core, a roll-shaped silver halide photosensitive material wound on the winding core and a packaging material covering the periphery and the both two lateral sides of the roll-shaped silver halide photosensitive material, wherein at least one surface of the three surfaces in the periphery and the both two lateral sides of the roll-shaped silver halide photosensitive material is packaged with a packaging material comprising a combination of a paper material with a pored film, and the water vapor permeability of such packaging material is not less than 5.1 g/m.sup.2 .multidot.24 hours. It is possible to prevent deterioration of a roll-shaped silver halide photosensitive material through abnormal sensitization of photographic performance.

    Abstract: A waste treatment furnace includes a first waste treatment chamber with a first burner chamber communicating therewith, and a second waste treatment chamber with a second burner chamber communicating therewith. A common bottom wall is positioned under the first and second waste treatment chambers which is inclined downwardly from the first chamber to the second chamber to facilitate transfer of waste. Each burner chamber includes a burner and a plurality of protuberances disposed across its inner surface. The protuberances effectively reflect heat from the first and second burners so that the heater air in the first and second burner chambers is homogenized.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a laser beam output optical unit adjustment method and apparatus, which can perform inspection and adjustment of a laser beam unit and a laser scanning optical system including this unit used in a laser beam printer within a short period of time. The laser irradiation position is roughly adjusted using a wide-field position detector, and focus rough adjustment is then performed using a narrow-field position detector. Thereafter, fine adjustment of the irradiation position and focus fine adjustment are performed using the narrow-field position detector. An image enhancement tube capable of a high-speed gate operation is arranged in a laser scanning region, and instantaneously takes a beam spot during laser scanning. An image processing devices analyzes the taken spot image, and a calculation unit calculates various data.
