  • Publication number: 20030151964
Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor memory device and control method capable of effectively suppressing the generation of operating current originating in noise of address signals provided from the outside without impairing the operating speed during reading and writing. This semiconductor memory device is provided with a filter circuit (102) for removing noise contained in address signals provided from the outside, a circuit system containing an ATD circuit (311) for generating a first address transition detection signal (&phgr;ATD1) by detecting a change in an address signal prior to passing through the filter circuit (102), and a circuit system containing an ATD circuit (321) for generating a second address transition detection signal (&phgr;ATD2) by detecting a change in an address signal after passing through the filter circuit (102).

  • Publication number: 20030112668
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device is provided which does not malfunction even when noise, generated inside or outside a chip, superimposes on an address. Power source noise is generated internally when a sense amplifier is activated (times t7 and t13) and during data output operations (time t14); in addition, system noise from outside is generated at certain times. By internally capturing an address “Address”, which is input from the outside, at the rise (time t10) of a latch control signal LC, an input sensitivity control signal IC is made valid (times t6-t12) after an address skew period (times t1-t4), and sensitivity with respect to the address is reduced, canceling noise on the address. Furthermore, the latch control signal LC is lowered after a data output operation (time t17). Consequently, this cancellation of the latch state prevents the generation of an incorrect address transition detect signal ATD from the address appearing the noise.

  • Patent number: 6564933
Abstract: A conveyor chain has a number of chain units connected together by connecting pins in an endless fashion. Each of the chain units is composed of a plurality of inverted tooth plates disposed in the width direction of the chain, and a slat disposed on one side of the tooth plates and extending across the width of the chain transversely across the tooth plates for carrying an object to be conveyed. The tooth plates each have a pair of inverted teeth formed on the other side thereof for meshing with sprocket teeth, and a pair of pin-accommodation holes for receiving a pair of connecting pins, respectively. The connecting pins each connect adjacent two chain units such that the tooth plates of one chain unit are interleaved with the tooth plates of the other chain unit.

  • Publication number: 20030090954
Abstract: A one-shot signal generation circuit is provided which makes it easy to adjust pulse width and to deal with variation of skew of an ATD signal, and can reduce chip area. A timing determination section (100) is reset by an edge of a first detected signal among a plurality of address transition detection signals (ATD signals) which have arrived within the skew period of an address signal, measures a first predetermined time by taking an edge of a second detected signal as start instant, and outputs a signal DST which reflects the result of this measurement. A timing determination section (110) measures a second predetermined time by taking an edge of the first detected signal as start instant, and outputs a signal PG which reflects the result of this measurement. An LC generation circuit (14) outputs a one-shot signal (LC) whose start instant is determined by the signal PG and whose end instant is determined by the signal DST.

  • Patent number: 6533107
Abstract: A silent chain power transmitting apparatus includes a silent chain and two or more sprockets with different number of teeth, wherein the sprockets each have a tooth form formed by hobbing with a hob cutter having teeth profiled similarly with the profile of a series of trapezoidal teeth formed by the inside flanks of longitudinally overlapping link plates of the silent chain so as to cut the periphery of a cylindrical workpiece with an amount of addendum modification set in such a manner that an engagement height of the inside flank at the onset of the meshing engagement between the silent chain and the sprocket is in equal to the distance between the sprocket center and the connecting pin centers when the silent chain is wrapped around and seated on the sprocket. The outside flanks of the silent chain have a first portion profiled by an envelope that is tangent to every one of a group of tooth forms of the sprockets when the silent chain is wrapped around the sprockets with different numbers of teeth.

  • Publication number: 20030027675
Abstract: In a silent chain transmission, sprocket teeth have different forms, depending on the number of teeth on each sprocket. The engagement level of a chain advancing onto each sprocket matches the radius of the chain's pitch circle when seated on the sprocket. The teeth of all the sprockets are produced by a hob cutter having tooth forms substantially similar to the shapes of the inside flanks of the chain's link plates. The profiles of the outside flanks of the link plates of the chain are composed of a linear tooth head line for contacting a sprocket having a minimum number of teeth, and an arc-shaped tooth bottom line for contacting a sprocket having a maximum number of teeth, connected by an arc-shaped intermediate line. Chordal action is avoided in all the sprockets, and vibration and noise are reduced, suppressing changes in tension in the chain and resulting in improved durability.

  • Patent number: 6461263
Abstract: A silent chain drive mechanism includes a silent chain for transmitting power between a larger sprocket and a smaller sprocket, wherein the inside flanks of one link plate of the silent chain are profiled to project outward of the outside flanks of the adjacent link plates, and tooth flank configurations of the larger and smaller sprockets are formed by involute curves arranged to satisfy the expression A1>Ac≧A2, where A1 is a pressure angle of the smaller sprocket, A2 is a pressure angle of the larger sprocket, and Ac is a pressure angle of the inside flanks of teeth of the link plates. With this arrangement, the chordal action of the silent chain is suppressed at both the larger sprocket side and the smaller sprocket side, thereby reducing vibrations and noises accompanied with the chordal action and improving the driving performance and durability.

  • Patent number: 6155386
Abstract: A spring-actuated electromagnetic brake includes an adjustment plate attached a rotating shaft and having an annular recess in one end face thereof facing a boss of a brake plate slidably mounted on the rotating plate. An annular elastic member is disposed in the annular recess in such a manner that when the brake is in the released state, the elastic member partially projects from the recess and is in contact with an end face of the boss. A slide-distance adjustment bolt having an enlarged head and a thread-free shank of a length larger than the thickness of the adjustment plate extends through an opening of the adjustment plate and is threaded on the end face of the boss. The brake plate is slidable in one direction by the force of the brake spring and in the opposite direction by the recovery force of the elastic member. The range of sliding movement of the brake plate is determined by the difference between the length of the shank of the bolt and the thickness of the adjustment plate.
