  • Patent number: 8617711
Abstract: A single layer film containing at least one anionic hydrophilic group selected from a sulfonic acid group, a carboxyl group and a phosphate group, wherein an anion concentration ratio (Sa/Da) of an anion concentration at a surface (Sa) to an anion concentration at a deep part (Da) is 1.1 or more. The single layer film is a copolymer prepared by polymerizing a composition containing a compound (I) represented by the general formula (1) ([X]s[M1]l[M2]m (1)) and a compound (II) having two or more (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule at a molar ratio of 15:1 to 1:30 and having a water contact angle of 30° or less. Such a single layer film has high hydrophilicity and surface hardness and is excellent in antifogging property, antifouling property and antistatic property, thus is useful as an antifogging material, an antifouling material, an antistatic material and a multilayer body.

  • Patent number: 8268402
Abstract: Disclosed is a fullerene film which can be easily formed by a wet process without deteriorating the intrinsic properties of a fullerene by using a fullerene derivative as a raw material. Also disclosed are a fullerene polymer, a method for producing a fullerene film, and a method for producing a fullerene polymer. A fullerene film or a fullerene polymer maintaining the intrinsic properties of the fullerene is obtained by coating a base with a solution of a fullerene derivative and then heating the thus-obtained coating film at a temperature higher than the thermal decomposition temperature of the fullerene derivative but lower than the thermal decomposition temperature of the fullerene.

  • Publication number: 20080063546
Abstract: A fuel pump includes a case member, which defines a fuel passage and accommodating a pump portion for pumping fuel. A motor portion is provided in the case member, and including a commutator for rectifying electricity supplied to an armature. Positive and negative electrode terminals conduct electricity to the motor portion. An insulative terminal support member supports the positive and negative electrode terminals. Brushes are slidable on the commutator to conduct electricity from the positive and negative electrode terminals to the commutator. Brush springs apply resilient forces to bias the brushes against the commutator. The terminal support member has a load bearing portion abutting against the brush springs to receive reactive forces of the resilient forces.

  • Publication number: 20050226796
Abstract: A high speed sterilization method for sterilizing a container, such as a beverage bottle, and an apparatus for performing the method. The method is performed by first preheating the container. The neck portion of the container may be heated separately and additionally to the preheating of the container. A disinfectant mist is then supplied into the container. The container is then heated. Finally, the container is rinsed.

  • Patent number: 6919043
Abstract: At the step of preheating the container, in addition to heating of the whole container, a neck portion (1a) of the container may be heated separately. Alternatively on the step of preheating the container, while whole container is heated by a hot air blast which is supplied in the container, neck portion (1a) of the container may be heated separately. Since it is difficult to increase the temperature of the neck portion as compared with other portions, by heating the neck portion separately, the effect of the preheating is performed more effectively. It is desirable that the hot air blast is supplied from the nozzle inserted in the container. For example by the method of spraying hot air blast from the outside of the portions, heating of the neck portions can be performed.

  • Publication number: 20040228721
Abstract: In a fuel pump, an impeller is rotatably accommodated between a suction side cover and a pump casing. A pump channel of the suction side cover is positioned on an axial side opposite to a fuel discharge port with respect to the impeller. The impeller has blade grooves circumferentially outside and communicating holes circumferentially inside. A wall of a terminal end portion of the pump channel of the suction side cover has a guide portion directing from the blade grooves toward the communicating holes. The terminal end portion is pointed in shape in a rotation direction of the impeller. Fuel pressurized in the pump channel is guided from the blade grooves to the communicating holes at the terminal end portion without steeply reducing flow speed and flows through the communicating holes to the fuel discharge port.
