  • Patent number: 5072267
Abstract: Complementary field effect transistors are provided wherein double-diffusion MOS FETs including an N-channel and a P-channel are formed on one and the same semiconductor substrate. These two channels are respectively formed in well base regions having the same conductivity type, the well base regions being spaced from each other. A double diffusion P-channel MOS FET has drain regions of the conductivity type which is opposite to the conductivity of a well base region, adjoining a base region of the same conductivity type as the well base region. The P-channel is formed to have a thickness which is less than the thickness of the base region, to thereby realize a diffusion P-channel MOS FET having a short channel.

  • Patent number: 4936240
Abstract: A structure for holding an underwater projection projecting downward from the bottom of hull of a hydrofoil craft or the like. The projection is connected at its rear end base portion to the hull by a hinge pivotally movably rearward and held at its front end base portion in a predetermined downwardly projecting state by a breakable holder. The projection is held in this state during usual navigation. The holder breaks when a predetermined force acts rearward on the projection, permitting the projection to move about the hinge, whereby the projection is prevented from damage.

  • Patent number: 4467406
Abstract: A ringing converter of the type having an output voltage stabilizing circuit connected on the primary side of a transformer. The converter is further provided with a circuit for detecting the primary current, which is proportional to the load current on the secondary side of the transformer. • Patent number: 4460955
Abstract: A stabilizing power supply apparatus including, as a switching element, a magnetic amplifier supplied with a rectangular wave voltage produced by an inverter and controlled by a reset current. An error sensing circuit senses a difference between the output voltage of the magnetic amplifier and a reference voltage to produce an error signal corresponding to the sensed difference. An amplifier circuit amplifies the error signal into the reset current for the magnetic amplifier. The amplifier circuit includes a NPN-type transistor for amplifying the control current into the reset current and first and second diodes. The first diode has an anode terminal connected to a negative power supply line and a cathode terminal connected to the collector of the transistor in order that charge will not accumulate on the transistor base. The second diode has an anode terminal connected to the emitter of the transistor and a cathode terminal connected to the magnetic amplifier.

  • Patent number: 4451902
Abstract: In a power source device for a bubble memory unit consisting of a bubble memory part and a control part, a controlling supply voltage to be applied to both the bubble memory part and the control part is produced by a power source circuit based on a pulse width modulation system. The power source circuit is provided with a circuit which can expand the signal pulse width in excess of its upper-limit value during the ordinary voltage control. When the controlling supply voltage has become lower than a predetermined value, the pulse width is expanded so that the refresh operation may be perfectly executed when the power source device for the bubble memory unit is turned off.

  • Patent number: 4413187
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for exposing an electron beam of a beam-shaping type, wherein the electron beam can be shaped into polygon having desired size by passing through a first and a second apertures. The position of the first or the second aperture tends to be deviated from its design position due to heat, resulting in a deviation of the electron beam. According to the invention, the offset value of the real image formed on the second aperture, with respect to the ideal image, is automatically determined by detecting a current passing through the second aperture. During an electron-beam exposure for patterning, the amount of deflection of the electron beam is corrected by taking the previously obtained offset value into consideration.
