  • Publication number: 20230190628
Abstract: A skin treatment method involves applying fine liquid droplets of a liquid composition containing a polymer A and a volatile solvent B to skin. The fine liquid droplets applied to the skin are dried to contract the skin. A mass of the fine liquid droplets applied to the skin as measured per one droplet thereof is from 0.001 to 100 ?g, and an average diameter of the fine liquid droplets is 10 ?m to 500 ?m. The polymer A has a deformation ratio of 0.3 to 1 as measured by a method of drying the liquid composition on a polyethylene sheet. A makeup method using the skin treatment method is also described.

  • Patent number: 7362242
Abstract: A photosensor module is composed of a light-receiving element module accommodating a light-receiving element, and a light-emitting element module accommodating a light-emitting element, which modules are separate, paired components. One of the paired light-receiving element module and light-emitting element module is mounted on a printed circuit board of a board unit, which is fixed to an end surface of a motor. After a code wheel is attached and fixed to the motor shaft along the axial direction of the motor shaft, a generally L-shaped module holder, which accommodates the other of the paired light-receiving element module and light-emitting element module, is mounted to the board unit. Thus, the light-emitting element and the light-receiving element are positioned such that these elements face each other via the optical modulation track portion of the code wheel.

  • Patent number: 6678025
Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which is capable of suppressing occurrence of an electric field between a metal light shielding layer and a metal interconnecting layer in a peripheral circuit portion, and preventing disconnection of the metal interconnecting layer due to corrosion, and which has improved reliability under conditions where light and heat are present. In the liquid crystal display device, a metal light shielding layer is formed in a pattern reverse to a metal interconnecting layer 13 on the metal-interconnecting layer on the driving substrate side. The potential of the metal light shielding layer is set to the same potential as the potential Vss of the metal interconnecting layer. On the metal light shielding layer is provided a transparent electrode through a flattening film. The transparent electrode is set to the same potential (=the potential of auxiliary capacitor or capacitance Cs) as a counter electrode on the counter substrate side.

  • Patent number: 6329673
Abstract: When a driving circuit for a liquid-crystal display apparatus, especially a switching section and an input-voltage conversion circuit for an analog operation, is formed of circuit devices having large variations in characteristics, such as thin-film transistors, these device-characteristic variations adversely affect circuit operations, and a video-signal switching section may reduce image quality. In the input-voltage conversion circuit, circuit malfunction may occur. In an active-matrix liquid-crystal display apparatus, thin-film transistors having a gate length of 2L and a gate width of 2W are used as circuit devices constituting a driving circuit for driving pixels, especially a circuit portion handling an analog signal, where L indicates the shortest gate length determined from the dielectric strength and W indicates the gate width determined by a ratio of W/L based on the purpose of use according to the shortest gate length L.

  • Patent number: 6327006
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is so constructed that the scattered or reflected incident rays and even the return rays are prevented from entering the transistor part. The device is free from the problem of photoelectric current leakage. The device comprises an active substrate with a pixel transistor TFT thereon and a counter substrate that faces the active substrate via liquid crystal therebetween, wherein light-shielding layers (upper light-shielding layer, and lower light-shielding layer) are formed to be adjacent to the side of the pixel transistor part that faces the counter substrate and adjacent to the side thereof that faces opposite to the counter substrate and wherein the upper light-shielding layer and the lead electrode shield the entire region except the pixel openings from the incident rays that enter the device through the counter substrate.
