  • Publication number: 20080297932
Abstract: This invention decreases a spectral reflectance in the entire visible wavelength range, to decrease inconveniences in an image such as flare or ghost. A non-reflective periodic layer including a large number of fine uneven periodic structure bodies is formed on a substrate, and an ND film is formed on the other surface of the substrate by vacuum deposition, to improve an anti-reflection function. Regarding a beam entering the ND filter, the MgF2 film of the formed ND film suppresses the spectral reflectance at the boundary of the atmosphere and the ND film and at the boundary of the ND film and the substrate. The non-reflective periodic layer decreases the reflectance at the boundary of the substrate and the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 7407031
Abstract: An all terrain vehicle has necessary rigidity despite a split-type body frame being used. A body frame is split into front and rear subframes along a front-to-rear direction of the vehicle, the subframes being detachably linked to each other via bolts. An upper linking section between the subframes is disposed between an engine upper suspension section for suspending an upper portion of an engine unit and an engine rear suspension section for suspending a rear portion of the engine unit.

  • Patent number: 7311170
Abstract: An all terrain vehicle is capable of preventing the temperature of air supplied to an engine and the temperature of a battery from being excessively increased and has a large minimum ground clearance. An object-mountable supporting box is bridged between left and right frame members of a body frame. A battery is located above a bottom plate of the supporting box. An air cleaner is located between the left and right frame members and rearward relative to the supporting box. An intake passage is located in an area which is between the left and right frame members, above the bottom plate of the supporting box, and beside the battery. An exhaust passage passes through an area above a bottom of the frame body and below the bottom plate of the supporting box.

  • Patent number: 7295391
Abstract: This invention decreases deformation of a plastic substrate caused by thermal expansion and contraction in an evaporation process of forming a multi-layered film of an ND filter, thus helping prevent wrinkles. The plastic substrate serving as the base of the ND filter is made of a polyimide-based plastic material having a glass transition temperature of 200° C. or more, has a total transmittance of light of 90% or more, and has a haze factor of 0.5% or less. As the multi-layered film, Al2O3 films for reduction of the reflectance and TiOx films for reduction of the transmittance are alternately formed on the substrate.

The plastic substrate serving as the base of the ND filter is made of a polyimide-based plastic material having a glass transition temperature of 200° C. or more, and has a total transmittance of light of 90% or more and has a haze factor, which represents the haze of 0.5% or less. As the multi-layered film, Al2O3 films for reduction of the reflectance and TiOx films for reduction of the transmittance are alternately formed on the substrate. An MgF2 film made of a low-refraction material is formed as the uppermost layer to further reduce the reflection. In the evaporation process, even when the temperature of the plastic substrate reaches almost 200° C.

  • Patent number: 6815629
Abstract: In a hydraulic pressure actuating apparatus for a circuit breaker, contacts of the circuit breaker have a moving contact and a stationary contact for turning on/off current. A shaft, at an end portion of which is attached the moving contact, and at the other end of which is attached a piston, is received within a cylinder. A directional control valve exchanges oil pressure for actuating the piston. For changing over the directional control valve, pilot valves are provided. Each pilot valve has a pair of valve bodies, each opposing to each other, and springs. One of the valve bodies is able to stroke up to contact with the valve body of the other valve body, therefore giving no ill influences upon actuating time, even if drawback occurs in the pilot valves in the hydraulic pressure actuating apparatus for the circuit breaker.

  • Publication number: 20030213774
Abstract: In a hydraulic pressure actuating apparatus for a circuit breaker, contacts of the circuit breaker has a moving contact 2 and a stationary contact 1 for turning on/off current. A shaft, at an end portion of which is attached the moving contact, and at the other end of which is attached a piston 5, is received within a cylinder 4. A directional control valve 13 exchanges oil pressure for actuating the piston. For changing over the directional control valve, pilot valves 50 and 60 are provided. Each pilot valve has a pair of valve bodies 53 and 55 or 63 and 65, each opposing to each other, and springs 54 and 64. One of the valve bodies is able to stroke up to contact with the valve body of the other valve body, therefore giving no ill influences upon actuating time, even if drawback occurs in the pilot valves in the hydraulic pressure actuating apparatus for the circuit breaker.

  • Patent number: 6286619
Abstract: An all terrain vehicle includes an engine and a final drive assembly. The engine includes an output shaft that supports a drive sprocket or pulley. The final drive assembly comprises an input shaft that supports a driven sprocket or pulley and a brake disc. A flexible transmitter such as a belt or a chain connects the drive sprocket or pulley and the driven sprocket or pulley. The final drive assembly is formed separate of the engine and spaced apart from the engine when the two components are mounted to a frame of the vehicle. The driven sprocket or pulley is positioned on an upper portion of the final drive assembly while a lower portion of the final drive assembly is pivotally connected to the frame. The final drive assembly can be pivoted to adjust a tension level within the flexible transmitter. The final drive assembly can be selectively secured in a pivotal position by a support rod and/or a set of slotted brackets.

  • Patent number: 4883185
Abstract: A suspension type transporter suspends a bolt drawing machine through a trolley and a hoist above a pressure container having many bolt attached thereto and transports the bolt drawing machine to a target position. A track settling portion having a guide is provided on an outer periphery of a lid of the pressure container. The suspension type transporter for the bolt drawing machine comprises a guide mechanism which restricts movement of the bolt drawing machine in the air by the guide. The guide mechanism of the transporter is provided with a position detector which can detect a position of the bolt drawing machine. A positioning controller of the suspension type transporter controls the transporter so that the transporter starts at slow speed, is then accelerated to a prescribed speed and is gradually decelerated near the target position.
