Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a tool manipulator, comprising a base, mountable on an operation table. A caliper is supported by the base and a tool holder is mounted on the caliper. An actuator positionable below a patient supporting surface of the operation table receives positioning commands for moving a tool in at least three degrees of freedom. The tool manipulator can be made part of a system for positioning a needle for diagnosis or treatment of the prostate of a patient. The system also comprises a power source connected to the actuator and a controller controlling the provision of the positioning commands to the actuator.

Abstract: An anchor fixture, for attaching accessories to a vehicle surface has a fixture body with a base for attaching to the vehicle surface. The fixture body has an anchor aperture for receiving an anchor of a first accessory, a fastener aperture for receiving a tongue fastener of a second accessory, and an anchor chamber disposed at least partly outwardly of the anchor aperture and communicating with the anchor aperture and the fastener aperture. The fastener aperture central axis is parallel or at an acute angle to the base. Accessories and accessory attachment systems are presented. Another fixture has a slot defined by the fixture body for receiving a vehicle accessory projection and a surface opposite the slot for engaging the projection. The slot is adapted to receive an anchor which selectively engages a surface adjacent to the slot. Accessories with anchors and corresponding projections are also presented.

Abstract: A stackable container assembly is disclosed, the assembly having a base container having a container body having a top surface and a bottom surface, an attachment base adapted for connecting the base container to a vehicle, and a fixture assembly attached to the top surface; and an accessory container having an accessory body having an accessory bottom surface, and an accessory base on the accessory bottom surface selectively connecting the accessory container to the fixture assembly of the base container such that the accessory container is stacked on top of the base container. A container and a vehicle provided with the stackable container assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: An adjustable handlebar riser assembly has an outer member, an inner member, a pin, a retainer member and a locking member. The inner member and the outer member have mating flat-bottom V-shaped faces. The inner member slides at least in part within the outer member. Each of the outer and inner members has at least one aperture through their flat-bottom V-shaped faces. The pin is inserted in an aperture of the outer member and in an aperture of the inner member. The retaining member is connected to the pin at one end while the locking member is connected to an opposed end of the pin. The locking member can exert a tension on the pin, pressing the outer member onto the inner member for locking these members at a selected position relative to one another.

Abstract: An apparatus for maintaining a wireless network includes an input/output interface (IO) to receive notification of a maintenance package and to communicate with wireless access points of the wireless network, and a controller to communicate with the wireless access points in response to the notification. In a first phase, the controller triggers each of the wireless access points that reaches a state of having no wireless associations to suspend accepting requests for wireless associations and install the maintenance package. In a second phase, the controller triggers each of the wireless access points not having the maintenance package installed after a time period to install the maintenance package.

Abstract: Network access point management includes: connecting to a network access point with a first controller device implemented by at least one processor; transmitting an updated configuration for the network access point from the first controller device to the network access point; transmitting a new value for a configuration version value stored by the network access point to the network access point; and transmitting the new value for the configuration version value stored by the network access point from the first controller device to each controller device in a group of controller devices to which the first controller device belongs.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The invention relates to the configuration of Network Access Devices (NAD's) and more specifically, to the detection of the type of protocol encapsulation used on an xDSL line for an ATM VC. The steps occurring in the encapsulation autodetection scheme are as follows. First, the protocol settings are configured for the channel. Then, a packet is created according to the protocol and sent. Any replies received within a timeout delay are recorded. If some replies are received in time, then the autodetection for the particular protocol setting is successful and the autodetection scheme can either abort or continue with another protocol setting, if wanted. If no replies are received in time, the autodetection scheme is started over with other protocol settings.
