  • Patent number: 11445749
Abstract: A brass smoking pipe is modified with numerous improvements. It is nickel-brass plated to prevent tarnishing. The draft holes are enlarged from the standard 1/16? to 3/32? diameter and drilled at an angle. The tar trap is drilled into a new deep-dish configuration. These modifications improve the pipe's draw. A titanium or quartz crystal retaining rod is provided, both to store multiple quartz crystal bowls in the storage canister and to serve as a domeless nail, converting an herb pipe to a concentrate pipe. A push nut holds quartz crystal bowls on the retaining rod. An oversized poker, available in brass, titanium, or glass, holds the tar trap in place and removes the tar trap for cleaning. The poker may be fitted with an easy-pull grip nut or a removal tool to remove the retaining rod and quartz crystal bowls from the storage canister.

  • Publication number: 20210153957
Abstract: Surgical tools and robotic systems adaptable for treating a left side or a right side of a patient with minimal interference with the patient and surrounding operative site are disclosed. In some embodiments, a surgical tool can include a body, an end-effector, a first connector, a second connector, and a third connector. The end-effector can extend from a distal end of the body and be movable relative to the body about a pivot axis. The first connector can rigidly secure the body to a planar mechanism. The second and third connectors can rigidly secure a distal part and a proximal part of a tracker, respectively, to the body. The first and second connectors can be symmetrical to each other with respect to a plane including a longitudinal axis of the body and the pivot axis and can be suited for attachment of either the tracker or the planar mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10104084
Abstract: Techniques are provided for augmenting the capabilities of the standard OAuth2 authorization framework in such a way as to allow clients to consume the services of multiple resource servers residing in disjoint security domains while requiring only a single one-time user authentication. An access token that provides access to resource services distributed across a plurality of security domains is partitioned into a plurality of reduced-scope access tokens. Each reduced-scope access token is limited to a subset of authorization scopes of the access token, providing access to a resource service in a particular security domain based upon the subset.

  • Patent number: 10021080
Abstract: A system and method for achieving authorization in confidential group communications in terms of an ordered list of data blocks representing a tamper-resistant chronological account of group membership updates. This method permits ad-hoc and decentralized group definition, dynamic and decentralized membership updates, open sharing, tamper resistance, and tracking of membership history. There are many applications of these techniques. One such application is enabling end-to-end encryption of instant messaging, content sharing, and streamed media.

  • Publication number: 20150362350
Abstract: A flexible array of sensor pairs are used to monitor lubricant condition in an oiler carrying lubricant. The array of sensor pairs are placed adjacent a reservoir and detect the fluid level in the reservoir. The sensor pairs are coupled a chassis and transmit data through communications components which transmit the data to an accessible site for aggregation, monitoring, and alarm features. • Patent number: 8707075
Abstract: A plurality of modules interact to form an adaptive network in which each module transmits and receives data signals indicative of the proximity of objects. A central computer accumulates the data produced or received and relayed by each module. One of the modules is operable as a leaf node having a sleep mode to conserve energy and an interactive mode. The central computer can send a message to the leaf node commanding it to stay awake in order to receive subsequent communications.

  • Publication number: 20120290857
Abstract: A plurality of modules interact to form an adaptive network in which each module transmits and receives data signals indicative of proximity of objects. A central computer accumulates the data produced or received and relayed by each module for analyzing proximity responses to transmit through the adaptive network control signals to a selectively-addressed module to respond to computer analyses of the data accumulated from modules forming the adaptive network. Interactions of local processors in modules that sense an intrusion determine the location and path of movements of the intruding object and control cameras in the modules to retrieve video images of the intruding object. Multiple operational frequencies in adaptive networks permit expansions by additional networks that each operate at separate radio frequencies to avoid overlapping interaction. Additional modules may be introduced into operating networks without knowing the operating frequency at the time of introduction.
