  • Patent number: 11755221
Abstract: Hardware enforced CPU core protection by identification of digital blocks as instructions or data. A method includes, at a memory controller shim, receiving, from a CPU core, a memory read request. The memory read request comprises an address for a block. The block at the address is requested from a memory. The block is received from the memory. At least one of a decryption key or an authentication key is accessed. At least one of a decryption transformation or an authentication transformation is performed on the block using the decryption key or the authentication key. When the decryption transformation or authentication transformation is deemed valid, a plain text version of the block is returned to the CPU core for consumption. When the decryption transformation or authentication transformation is deemed invalid, the CPU core is prevented from consuming the plain text version of the block.

  • Patent number: 11750164
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for controlling rail-voltages for amplifier output stages. In some examples, a method may include receiving sets of data values (e.g., at a power-supply control circuitry) for control of a rail voltage of an amplifier output stage. The method may also include determining that the receipt of a pending set of data values has been interrupted. Then, upon the determination that the receipt of the pending plurality of data values has been interrupted, the method may include decreasing the rail voltage to a non-boosted rail-voltage level.

  • Publication number: 20230236356
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a thin coated optical fiber that enables connector assembly without stripping the optical fiber. In particular, the thin coating comprises a hard coating, a dye concentrate, and an adhesion promoter. The formulation of the coating promotes adhesion to a glass cladding of the optical fiber and to a ferrule bore (into which the optical fiber is inserted) by not causing silane decomposition of the coating. Moreover, the coating is colored to enable, among other things, fiber identification within a connector. The thin coated optical fibers exhibit good mechanical and optical performance properties as discussed herein.

  • Publication number: 20230151974
Abstract: A hot water circulation system comprises a water heater having a cold-water inlet and a hot water outlet. A water pump circulates water through the water heater to produce hot water. The hot water is circulated to a thermal bypass valve, which is configured to close when hot water contacts a heat activated seal. A bypass circuit is coupled between the hot water outlet and the cold water inlet of the water heater. The bypass circuit prevents hot water from circulating from the hot water outlet to the cold-water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is open and promotes circulating hot water from the hot water outlet to the cold water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is closed. Upon a temperature sensor sensing hot water entering the cold-water inlet, the water heater turns of the water pump.
