Abstract: Methods and systems for managing digital groups and claim allocations in digital a peer-to-peer insurance network, the network including a plurality of members each having an electronic member account, including establishing a group comprising a subset of the members of the network, adding a member of the network to the group by associating the member account of the new group with the group, determining, for the new group member account, a member general risk weighting, a group risk factor adjustment and a network risk factor adjustment, and using same to determine liability of the new group member account when a claim originates from within or outside the group; and adjusting the risk factor adjustments of the new group member general risk weighting in response to another member being added/leaving the group or network, or in response to a change in risk of a member account in the group.

Abstract: A bypass adaptor for a respiratory assistance system including an inlet connector configured to connect to a gases source outlet and defining a first gases passageway with a first axis and an outlet connector configured to connect to an inspiratory conduit connector and defining a second gases passageway with a second axis, the second gases passageway being fluidly connected to the first gases passageway, the inspiratory conduit connector being incompatible with direct connection to the gases source outlet, wherein the first axis is separated from the second axis by an angle that allows the inspiratory conduit connector to be connected via the bypass adaptor to the gases source outlet in a space smaller than the length of the inspiratory conduit connector. Also provided are a port cap assembly and a humidifying apparatus including the port cap assembly, wherein the port cap assembly provides for improved assembly and/or usability.

The digital bulletin board message(s) are received by the controlled-environment resident communication and/or media device(s) to which the digital bulletin board message is assigned, and are displayed by the controlled-environment resident communication and/or media device(s) to which the digital bulletin board message(s) are assigned, in accordance with the assigned priority and the schedule for display of the digital bulletin board message(s).

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a social statement for an account holder of a financial institution. In one example embodiment, the method includes receiving, by one or more computer processors, account holder financial data associated with the account holder, and receiving, by the one or more computer processors, account holder social data associated with one or more social networking profiles of the account holder. The method further includes associating, by the one or more computer processors, the account holder social data with the account holder financial data. In addition, the method includes identifying peer financial data associated with a peer group, and creating a social statement based at least in part on the account holder financial data, the account holder social data, and the peer financial data. Further, the method includes providing the social statement to the account holder.

Abstract: A delivery portal, which may be at a loading dock, includes a sensor configured to detect a pallet, platform or stack of goods as it passes through the portal. A computer is programmed to receive information from the sensor and to identify the pallet based upon the information. The computer is further programmed to compare the identified pallet to a database to determine if the identified pallet should be passing through the portal. For example, the computer determines whether the pallet is being loaded onto the wrong truck or onto the right truck but in the wrong sequence. The sensor for detecting the pallet may be an RFID sensor reading an RFID tag on the pallets. The portal may be a loading dock. The database may indicate a sequence for loading a plurality of pallets including the identified pallet onto a truck at the loading dock.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a stacked reinforcement assembly for a grille of a motor vehicle. An example vehicle includes a fascia, an active grille shutter assembly including a housing, and a reinforcement assembly connected to the fascia and the housing. The reinforcement assembly includes a first bar at least partially nested within a second bar. An assembly and method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A control box for a sprayer system is provided. The control box may include a wash flow path, a wash flow solenoid disposed in the wash flow path, a detergent supply assembly disposed in wash flow path, a rinse flow path, a rinse flow solenoid disposed in the rinse flow path, a common flow path, a flow switch disposed in the common flow path, an alternating relay, and a connection valve leading to a discharge flow path. The flow switch may be configured to provide a signal to the alternating relay. The alternating relay may be configured to control both the wash flow solenoid and the rinse flow solenoid. The connection valve may receive both the wash flow path and the rinse flow path. In another embodiment, a sprayer system including a control box and a sprayer unit is provided.

Abstract: A system obtains conversation data corresponding to conversations between users and agents of a client. The system identifies a set of intents from the conversations and identifies a set of contexts, explicit elements, and implied elements of these intents. The system identifies actions that can be performed to recognize new explicit and implied elements from new conversations and to address intents in these new conversations. Based on these actions, the system generates a set of recommendations that can be provided to the client. As agents communicate with users, the system monitors adherence to the set of recommendations.

Abstract: A method of identifying opposing ends of a cable within a cabling assembly having a plurality of cables. The method includes transmitting a signal to a first end of a cable of the plurality of cables, receiving the signal at a second end of the cable of the plurality of cables, transmitting an output signal from a connector operably coupled to the second end of the cable of the plurality of cables to a processor. The connector is one of a plurality of connectors. The method additionally includes identifying using an indicator device the connector of the plurality of connectors that is operably coupled to the second end of the cable.

Abstract: A lighting system is disclosed that includes elongated LED light fixture with one or more master circuit boards configured to power light emitting diodes. The elongated LED light fixtures include modular light boards with arrays of light emitting diodes that interchangeably couple to the matched connectors on the master circuit board. The system further includes elongated LED light fixtures with telescoping end features, fenestrated diffuser optics at ends of the elongated LED fight fixtures and/or pivoting corner features that join sections of the elongated LED light fixtures.

Abstract: The multichannel fiber optic connector, adapter, and contact retention method is disclosed. The connector includes a load carousel which enables handling, locating, retention, and, where needed, spring-loading of the plurality of single-fiber fiber optic ferrules supported within the connector, and the connector itself provides for independent axial and radial alignment of the fiber optic contacts. The adapter includes a plurality of optical alignment sleeves, and mating interfaces for two different connector types on differing sides of the adapter, wherein the fiber count of one connector type is an integral multiple of the fiber count of the other connector type, and wherein the contact pattern of the first connector type is repeated the same integral number of times within the contact pattern of the second connector type.

Abstract: A lockup clutch for a torque converter is provided. The lockup clutch includes a piston including a first wedge surface and a support supporting the piston. The piston is axially slidable along the support in a first axial direction to cause engagement of the lockup clutch. The lockup clutch also includes a wedge including a second wedge surface. The wedge is axially movable along the support. The first wedge surface is arranged and configured with respect to the second wedge surface such that contact between the first wedge surface and the second wedge surface limits axial movement of the piston in a second axial direction opposite the first axial direction. A torque converter and a method of forming a lockup clutch are also provided.

Abstract: Adaptive replication of changes may be performed for copies of a database. Log records may be generated and stored that correspond to changes to a database while a database is being copied. If the changes to be applied to a copy of the database is less than or equal to a threshold number of changes, then the copy of the database may be updated using the stored log records. If the changes to be applied to the copy of the database are greater than the threshold number of changes, then the copy of the database may be updated using data stored in the database.
