The new set master audio playback device controls the play of audio by the new slave audio playback device.

Abstract: An LED light fixture is disclosed with an elongated housing that forms a open lower light channel and an upper light channel that is juxtaposed to the open lower light channel with electronics cavity or conduit positioned there between. The LED light fixture preferably has an elongated reflective insert that extends through the open lower light channel and creates a reflection channel from which the indirect and reflected light is emitted and a detachable cover structure that includes a diffusion lens and a removable baffle structure that attaches to side walls of the upper light channel.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a social statement for an account holder of a financial institution. In one example embodiment, the method includes receiving, by one or more computer processors, account holder financial data associated with the account holder, and receiving, by the one or more computer processors, account holder social data associated with one or more social networking profiles of the account holder. The method further includes associating, by the one or more computer processors, the account holder social data with the account holder financial data. In addition, the method includes identifying peer financial data associated with a peer group, and creating a social statement based at least in part on the account holder financial data, the account holder social data, and the peer financial data. Further, the method includes providing the social statement to the account holder.

Conversely, a covert image and/or video of a user is captured while the controlled-environment facility resident communication and/or media device is in use for another task, without providing the user the same or other visual indication that the covert image is being captured.

Abstract: UE location determined by collecting and preprocessing signal data at a detector and sending extracted data to a remote locate server. The detector buffers samples from signals provided by receive channels, detects known reference signals from receive channels based on reference signal parameters, isolates symbols carrying the reference signal from frames, extracts data from symbols, and sends extracted data to locate server. The locate server receives the extracted data, estimates locate observables based on the extracted data and calculates the UE location based on the estimated locate observables, the reference signal parameters and the extracted data. The detector and/or the server may also generate correlation coefficients between reference signals carrying spectrum received from a serving cell and utilize the correlation coefficients to cancel a serving cell signal in symbols that include known in advance reference signals from the serving cell and one or more neighboring cells of the wireless system.

A plurality of second flow passages respectively are formed between ridges and an inner surface of the housing part, allowing the fluid to flow from the inlet side of the filter element along the longitudinal direction. At least a portion of the plurality of ridges facing the second flow passages is permeable to the fluid so as to allow passage of the fluid from the second flow passages to the first flow passage.

In response, the system may generate contextual information associated with the content. The system may receive a content request from a second user device. The system may determine that the content is to be presented to the second user and send instructions configured to cause the second user device to display the content with an indicator indicating that contextual information is available. Upon detecting a first interest indicator representing that the content is being viewed, the second device may be instructed to transform the indicator into a contextual highlight. Upon detecting a second interest indicator representing user interest in the available contextual information, the second device may display the contextual information.

An assessment web application administers an assessment and receives a candidate submission that may be injected into a reference codebase, rendered in a browser, and processed by a mismatch generator and scorer to calculate a candidate submission score.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide a resident of a controlled-environment facility with voice messaging. The facility provides the resident with voice communication services. In response to a request by a resident for a voice communication with a non-resident, a call request to the non-resident may be initiated. In certain scenarios, the non-resident is unable to accept the call request. If a voice message is authorized, the resident is allowed to record a voice message for the non-resident. Certain restrictions may limit the resident to selecting from automated voice messages. A notification of the recorded voice message is dispatched to the non-resident. The notification identifies a unique link that directs the non-resident to a voice message retrieval system that allows the resident to retrieve and listen to the voice message recorded by the resident. The voice message recording remains under the control of the controlled-environment facility based on applicable security policies and procedures.

Abstract: A hub assembly for a torque converter is provided. The hub assembly includes a turbine hub including an inner radial surface, an outer radial surface and a channel for providing fluid from the inner radial surface to the outer radial surface. The turbine hub also includes a first seal and a second seal on the outer radial surface and a plenum groove in the outer radial surface axially between the first seal and the second seal. The channel extends radially into the plenum groove. A method for forming a hub assembly for a torque converter is also provided.

Abstract: The use of exploding targets has become a popular practice aid in the military, law enforcement and consumer levels. The inventor has conceived and reduced to practice, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, a safe explosive target formulation that is initiated by low-velocity impact. This formulation represents a binary explosive in that the fuel and oxidizer are packaged separately until directly prior to use. Safe, explosive targets for high velocity applications are common. A formulation for low velocity projectile applications which employs an aluminum/magnesium alloy fuel and a potassium perchlorate/ammonium nitrate oxidizer is described.

Abstract: The multichannel fiber optic connector, adapter, and contact retention method is disclosed. The connector includes a load carousel which enables handling, locating, retention, and, where needed, spring-loading of the plurality of single-fiber fiber optic ferrules supported within the connector, and the connector itself provides for independent axial and radial alignment of the fiber optic contacts. The adapter includes a plurality of optical alignment sleeves, and mating interfaces for two different connector types on differing sides of the adapter, wherein the fiber count of one connector type is an integral multiple of the fiber count of the other connector type, and wherein the contact pattern of the first connector type is repeated the same integral number of times within the contact pattern of the second connector type.

Abstract: A bypass adaptor for a respiratory assistance system including an inlet connector configured to connect to a gases source outlet and defining a first gases passageway with a first axis and an outlet connector configured to connect to an inspiratory conduit connector and defining a second gases passageway with a second axis, the second gases passageway being fluidly connected to the first gases passageway, the inspiratory conduit connector being incompatible with direct connection to the gases source outlet, wherein the first axis is separated from the second axis by an angle that allows the inspiratory conduit connector to be connected via the bypass adaptor to the gases source outlet in a space smaller than the length of the inspiratory conduit connector.
