    Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems, apparatuses, and methods for operating the systems and apparatuses are disclosed. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a negative pressure source, a connector port, at least one switch, and a controller. The negative pressure source is connected through the connector port to either (i) a wound dressing having a canister configured to store fluid aspirated from the wound or (ii) a wound dressing without a canister between the connector port and the wound dressing. The controller determines, based on a signal received from the at least one switch, whether the canister is positioned in the fluid flow path and adjusts one or more operational parameters of negative pressure wound therapy based on the determination. The switch is activated by the connection of either the canister or canisterless wound dressing to the apparatus.

    Abstract: One or more implementations of a multi-film thermoplastic bag with a conjoined hem channel. For example, the multi-film thermoplastic bag includes a multi-film hem channel. Bonds secure the layers of the hem channel together so as to prevent a drawtape from inverting or bunching an inner layer of the hem channel during cinching. The bonds are thus located in a hem channel of a multi-film thermoplastic bag so as to reduce an amount of mechanical engagement between the films of the multi-film thermoplastic bag and another thermoplastic film such as a drawtape. In one or more implementations, a grab zone of the multi-film thermoplastic bag also includes bonds in the form of contact areas to provide tactile and visual cues of strength in the grab zone.

The stand-off structures may be positioned on an inner-facing surface of the apparel item where they help to create a space between the apparel item and the wearer's body surface in which air can flow and help cool the wearer by promoting evaporative cooling.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating and updating a performance report for a system adapted to run a plurality of flows, which enables the performance data of individual running flows to be compared to flows with a similar function. This is achieved by linking each of the running flows to one of a plurality of templates which describes a function of a flow. Each template may have an associated performance summary generated for it, based on the performance data of the running flows linked to the template. A performance report can be generated from a plurality of the performance summaries. The performance report can then be updated by running a plurality of test flows on the spare capacity of the system, while obtaining test performance data from the test flows. The test performance data can be compared to performance data of running flows on the system linked to the template.

When the plurality of rods is mutually interconnected, the respective second ends of the first and the second terminal portion can be connected to each other in order to form a closed frame.

    Abstract: Disclosed are devices, system, and method for mitigating wind damage to satellite antennas and for reducing the amount of ballast required to secure the satellite antennas. The device, system, and method include a mast on which an antenna may be affixed, a pivot gear capable of rotating between two or more positions, and a tension force or retention force on the pivot gear. A load force applied to the antenna creates a risk of damage proportional to the load force. The antenna system is capable of transitioning from a first orientation into a second orientation when the load force exceeds tension force or retention force, or the sum thereof, such that the antenna system experiences a reduced load force and therefore a reduced risk of damage. The device, system, and method also reduce the amount of ballast required to secure a non-penetrating antenna installation against tipping or sliding.

The first user inputs a selection command via an input interface, such as, for example, gazing at particular information, to select some of the displayed information. The first head-mounted display generates a message based on the user selection, which may be encrypted by the first head-mounted display prior to transmission. The first head-mounted display transmits the message to a second head-mounted display, such that the second head-mounted display displays the message to an eye of a second user wearing the second head-mounted display.
