  • Patent number: 12581493
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to estimating downlink size for a multicast traffic. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first device receives downlink control information (DCI) for a multicast traffic. The first device determines field size(s) in the DCI based on one or more parameters which are associated with the field size estimation for the multicast traffic. The first device decodes the DCI based on the determined field sizes(s). In this way, the DCI can be blindly decoded correctly.

  • Patent number: 12567930
Abstract: Disclosed are example embodiments of method and apparatus supporting narrowband system information modification indications based on synchronization raster positions. A terminal device may comprise at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the terminal device to determine a first frequency position of a synchronization signal, and apply a first scheme to decode at least a part of system information received from a network, responsive to the determined first frequency position of the synchronization signal. The first frequency position is different from a second frequency position, and the first scheme is different from a second scheme which is applicable for decoding the part of the system information when the synchronization signal is at the second frequency position.

  • Patent number: 12495397
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to communications with preconfigured uplink resources (PUR). A method implemented at a terminal device comprises identifying a need to change a transmission configuration of the terminal device, the terminal device being in a transmission mode with a set of preconfigured uplink resources (PURs) allocated for the terminal device to transmit user data to a network device; and in response to identifying the need to change the transmission configuration, transmitting control information to the network device using a first PUR in the set of PURs, the control information comprising information relevant to the change of the transmission configuration. In this way, it is possible to enable the terminal device to save power, time, and resources by bypassing a full random access procedure when the transmission configuration is needed to be changed.

  • Patent number: 12484467
Abstract: Sharing planter data is made efficient through an initial separation of agricultural data before transmission of the same. During performance of agricultural tasks, generated data is stored in files representing geographic regions. Several data layers of the files correspond to various agricultural aspects which can then be selectively transmitted with smaller parsed files. The received data can be harmonized into the same format used by the receiving agricultural implement. Sharing planter data in this way obviates performance degradation for rural cellular networks.

  • Patent number: 12481966
Abstract: A vessel is assigned a unique vessel identifier (620). Before or after the vessel is filled, the vessel identifier is encoded into a machine-readable code that is printed or etched onto the vessel (630; 640). The code may have the property that it can be quickly read by a scanner from a variety of different angles and vessel orientations. When the vessel is sold to a user, the user may scan the machine-readable code (or a different code placed on a label associated with the vessel) using a smartphone (710), and the unique vessel identifier is linked to a user account associated with the user (740). Later, when the user places the empty vessel in the recycling stream, a scanner or camera placed in the recycling facility scans or captures the machine-readable code on the vessel and extracts the vessel identifier from the code (810; 820).

  • Patent number: 12310276
Abstract: Continued and precise operation of an agricultural implement exists even where a subsystem, such as a GPS receiver, wireless communicator, a sensor, or the like, fails, falters, or is otherwise unusable. Data is continually tracked to the extent possible during failure or faltering and is temporarily stored. To continue operations during periods of unavailability, a representation of planted ground is anticipated by other agricultural implements and/or calculated with agricultural data from other agricultural implements. Normal operations then continue until data sync can catch back up to real-time.
