  • Publication number: 20130223271
Abstract: The eNB of a first cell being interfered by at least one second cell, obtains pattern information, from the eNB of the second cell or network configuration, indicating almost blank subframes that are configured by the eNB of the second cell or the network configuration; determines measurement signalling indicating subframes; and sends the measurement signalling to the UE. The UE in the first cell receives the measurement signalling from the serving eNB, the measurement signalling comprising at least one pattern information recommended by at least one second cell or network configuration, each of the pattern information indicating at least one almost blank subframe that is configured by the corresponding second cell; determines the resource used for measurement according to the measurement signalling; and carries out measurement on the determined resource.

  • Patent number: 8272320
Abstract: A cooking apparatus having a waste heat recovery system for incorporation into broilers, ovens, and toasters, the apparatus including a cooking chamber having a cooking platform, at least one air plenum disposed in the upper portion of the cooking chamber and having a plurality of air outlets for producing a focused forced air, a low pressure air source connected to the air plenums, a heating element or burner disposed under each of said air plenums, such that said curtain of focused forced air guides and directs heat from said heating element toward food product being cooked, and heat exchange pipes disposed between at least two of said air plenums. Radiant heat generated from the heating elements or burners rises in the cooking chamber and is retained between the air plenums to maximize heat transfer from the heated air to the heat transfer pipes, and thus to the low pressure air in the low pressure air system. • Publication number: 20120051404
Abstract: The present application describes embodiments of methods and apparatuses that may be used to accommodate different reference symbol patterns. One embodiment of the method includes identifying overlapping resource element(s) in a resource block by comparing a first pattern of resource elements associated with first reference symbols to a second pattern of resource elements associated with second reference symbols. This embodiment also includes transmitting the first and second reference symbols in the overlapping resource element(s) when first and second antenna ports allocated for transmission of the first and second reference symbols in the overlapping resource element(s) are the same. • Patent number: 7893016
Abstract: A composition for treating a nucleic acid duplex, wherein the composition is capable of inhibiting denaturation of the duplex, characterised in that the composition comprises a ubiquitin-like protein and/or a macroglobulin. It has been found that ubiquitin-like proteins (e.g. ubiquitin, NEDD8, RAD23, etc.) and macroglobulins (eg. ?2-macroglobulin) are able to stabilise nucleic acid duplexes. A nucleic acid duplex which has been contacted with the composition of the invention can be subjected to more stringent processing conditions, with denaturation of the duplex being inhibited, than would otherwise be possible. Corresponding methods and uses are also provided.

  • Patent number: 7754853
Abstract: This invention pertains to a TNF alpha-binding polypeptide composition comprising at least one of a modified heavy chain variable region polypeptide or a modified light chain variable region polypeptide that is capable of specifically binding to human TNF alpha. The modified heavy and light chain variable region polypeptides of the TNF alpha binding polypeptide are modified by at least one amino acid residue substitution, deletion or addition and are homologous to the heavy and light chain variable regions, respectively, of a non-human monoclonal antibody that specifically binds human TNF alpha. The polypeptide compositions of the invention comprising modified heavy and light chain variable region polypeptides are less immunogenic in a human than are the homologous heavy and light chain variable region polypeptides from a non-human animal.

  • Patent number: 7615217
Abstract: The invention relates to artificial modified proteins, preferably fusion proteins, having a reduced immunogenicity compared to the parent non-modified molecule when exposed to a species in vivo. The invention relates, above all, to novel immunoglobulin fusion proteins which essentially consist of an immunoglobulin molecule or a fragment thereof covalently fused via its C-terminus to the N-terminus of a biologically active non-immunoglobulin molecule, preferably a polypeptide or protein or a biologically active fragment thereof. In a specific embodiment, the invention relates to fusion proteins consisting of an Fc portion of an antibody which is fused as mentioned to the non-immunological target molecule which elicits biological or pharmacological efficacy. The molecules of the invention have amino acid sequences which are altered in one or more amino acid residue positions but have in principal the same biological activity as compared with the non-altered molecules.
