  • Patent number: 10442597
Abstract: Containers having packaging structures, and integral packaging structures that form an outer container and include packaging structures are disclosed. The packaging structures include a support frame including at least a platform panel having first and second opposed faces, the support frame further including an article-loading aperture. A flexible sheet overlies at least a portion of the first face of the platform panel and the article-loading aperture. An article-receiving area between the flexible sheet and the platform panel is accessible to an article only by loading through the article-loading aperture.

  • Patent number: 9352891
Abstract: A packaging structure that is adapted for insertion into an outer container. The packaging structure includes a support frame including at least a platform panel having opposed first and second faces and at least a pair of opposed side panels pivotally connected to the platform panel. A first flexible sheet overlies at least a portion of the first face of the platform panel and a second flexible sheet overlies at least a portion of the first flexible sheet and is coupled to the pair of opposed side panels to allow the second flexible sheet to be tensioned when the side panels are pivoted away from the first face of the platform panel.

  • Publication number: 20140061085
Abstract: Packaging structures are disclosed that are adapted for insertion into an outer container and/or that are foldable to form a container. The packaging structures include a panel having an article support portion having a support surface. A flexible film overlies the support portion and is secured to the support portion, so as to lie substantially adjacent the support surface. At least one access opening is defined by a region where the film is not secured to the support portion and through which an article may be inserted between the flexible film and the support portion. Insertion of such an article causes the flexible film to stretch, exerting a force on the article for holding it against the support portion and preferably resisting lateral shifting of the article from the desired location between the flexible film and the support surface.

  • Patent number: 8181377
Abstract: A display device includes (a) a first mounting member containing a first film-mounting surface, wherein the first film-mounting surface demarcates a first opening in the first mounting member; (b) a second mounting member containing a second film-mounting surface, wherein the second film-mounting surface demarcates a second opening in the second mounting member; (c) a first elastomeric film mounted to the first film-mounting surface and extending across the first opening; (d) a second elastomeric film mounted to the second film-mounting surface and extending across the second opening; and (e) a chassis configured for supporting the first mounting member and the second mounting member. The first opening and the second opening are configured for oppositional alignment in the chassis, and the first elastomeric film and the second elastomeric film are configured to retain a display object in a region defined by an oppositional alignment of the first opening and the second opening.
