  • Publication number: 20220007341
Abstract: In some aspects, a channel hopping sequence for communication on a mesh network is generated. The hopping sequence may include multiple channels assigned to respective positions in the hopping sequence. In some cases, a first channel is assigned to a first position such that the first channel may transmit communications in a first transmission mode, such as a low-bandwidth transmission mode. In addition, an additional channels adjacent to the first channel is also assigned to the first position such that the combination of the first channel and additional channel may transmit communications in a second transmission mode, such as a high-bandwidth transmission mode. In some cases, a whitelist is determined based on the assigned channels. The whitelist may indicate channels that do not conflict with the assigned channels during transmission of a communication. In addition, channels may be assigned to the hopping sequence based on the whitelist.

  • Patent number: 11206516
Abstract: A system and method for the real-time management of a device, and more particularly to the establishment and enforcement of policies or rules associated with the feature or functions that may be performed with the device, such as making and receiving calls, exchanging data, playing games and music, sending and receiving email, accessing web sites, and paying for goods and services. If a child or employee is using the device, there may be a need to regulate how that device can be used and to determine who will pay for what goods or services. In addition to providing all of the features associated with a device, service providers need to be able to establish and enforce rules (policies) regulating how and when that device can be used and who will pay for a good or service requested by the user of the device.

Abstract: A method for autonomously maneuvering a tow vehicle. The method includes receiving images from one or more cameras positioned on a back portion of the tow vehicle and receiving sensor data from an inertial measurement unit supported by the tow vehicle. The method also includes determining a pixel-wise intensity difference between a current received image and a previous received image. The method includes determining a camera pose and a trailer pose with respect to a world coordinate system. The camera pose and the trailer pose are based on the images, the sensor data, and the pixel-wise intensity difference. • Publication number: 20210324756
Abstract: A system includes a gas turbine engine and a controller operable to determine a closing threshold with respect to an upper limit and an opening threshold with respect to a lower limit of a movement range of an effector of the gas turbine engine based on an on-board model, where the upper limit and the lower limit are defined for a target parameter of the gas turbine engine. The controller determines a projected state of the target parameter absent a correction command to the effector, applies a closing correction to the effector based on determining that the projected state of the target parameter would result in being above the closing threshold, and applies an opening correction to the effector based on determining that the projected state of the target parameter would result in being below the opening threshold.

  • Patent number: 11082812
Abstract: A method is provided to transmit a message over a wireless mesh network. According to the method, a node connects to a second node by a first communications band and a second communications band, such that the node is configured to communicate with the second node over both the first communications band and the second communications band. The node identifies a message for transmission to the second node. The node determines that the second node is capable of receiving the message by way of the first communications band and is capable of receiving the message by way of the second communications band. The node dynamically determines a selected communications band, from the first communications band and the second communications band, to use to transmit the message to the second node over the wireless mesh network. The node transmits the message to the second node over the selected communications band.

  • Patent number: 11078849
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a fluid-based system are disclosed. The systems and methods may include generating a model output using a model processor, processing a model input vector and setting a model operating mode, and setting dynamic states of the model processor, the dynamic states input to an open loop model based on the model operating mode. Synthesized parameters are generated as a function of the dynamic states and the model input vector based on a series of utilities, where at least one of the utilities is a configurable utility including one or more sub-utilities. An estimated state of the model is determined based on at least one of a prior state and the synthesized parameters. An actuator associated with the control device is directed as a function of a model output, where the model output includes an estimated thrust value for the control device.
