  • Publication number: 20180225812
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards methods and systems for determining multimodal image edits for a digital image. The systems and methods receive a digital image and analyze the digital image. The systems and methods further generate a feature vector of the digital image, wherein each value of the feature vector represents a respective feature of the digital image. Additionally, based on the feature vector and determined latent variables, the systems and methods generate a plurality of determined image edits for the digital image, which includes determining a plurality of set of potential image attribute values and selecting a plurality of sets of determined image attribute values from the plurality of sets of potential image attribute values wherein each set of determined image attribute values comprises a determined image edit of the plurality of image edits.

  • Patent number: 10040522
Abstract: A wakeboat has a hull, the hull forming a wake when moving forward in the water, with a port disturbance and a starboard disturbance in the wake. Left (port) and right (starboard) trim tabs are installed at the stern of the hull. Each trim tab comprises a primary subtab and a secondary subtab. Actuators may be optionally included to reposition the trim tabs more into, or more out of, the water. Such repositioning causes the disturbance on one side of the wake to be selectively repositioned to the other side of the wake, enlarging a quiet region on the side of the wake on which the repositioned disturbance was originally positioned. Other systems and methods are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20180195596
Abstract: A linear actuator that includes a torque generator, a lead screw, a driven nut, an activation circuit and a push rod. The torque generator has an output shaft. The lead screw is operationally coupled to the output shaft of the torque generator. The driven nut has an internally threaded bore that threadably engages external threads of the lead screw in such a manner that frictional forces between the internal threaded bore and the external threads prevent movement between the driven nut and the lead screw when no torque is provided by the torque generator. The activation circuit is in communication with the torque generator. The activation circuit has at least one switch that is configured to be activated by the driven nut. The push rod is operationally coupled to the driven nut.

  • Patent number: 9996384
Abstract: Described is a technology by which a virtual machine may be safely migrated to a computer system with a different platform. Compatibility of the virtual machine may be checked by comparing the virtual machine's capabilities against those of the new platform. To ensure compatibility, when created the virtual machine may have its capabilities limited by the lowest common capabilities of the different platforms available for migration. Computer systems may be grouped into migration pools based upon similar capabilities, and/or a virtual machine may be mapped to certain computer systems based upon capabilities needed by that virtual machine, such as corresponding to needed performance, fault tolerance and/or flexibility.

  • Publication number: 20180143988
Abstract: A digital medium environment includes an asset processing application that performs editing of assets. A projection function is trained using pairs of actions pertaining to software edits, and assets resulting from the actions to learn a joint embedding between the actions and the assets. The projection function is used in the asset processing application to recommend software actions to create an asset, and also to recommend assets to demonstrate the effects of software actions. Recommendations are based on ranking distance measures that measure distances between actions representations and asset representations in a vector space.

  • Patent number: 9721202
Abstract: Sound processing techniques using recurrent neural networks are described. In one or more implementations, temporal dependencies are captured in sound data that are modeled through use of a recurrent neural network (RNN). The captured temporal dependencies are employed as part of feature extraction performed using nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF). One or more sound processing techniques are performed on the sound data based at least in part on the feature extraction.
