  • Publication number: 20120234198
Abstract: A casing has a projectile receiving end portion and a primer receiving end portion. A plurality of projectiles is positioned in a stacked configuration within the casing at the projectile receiving end portion. A propellant receiving space is defined within the casing between an innermost one of the projectiles and the primer receiving end portion of the casing. The innermost one of the projectiles has a gas check body attached thereto at an end face thereof exposed to the propellant receiving space of the casing. A first cannulure is positioned between the gas check body and the primer receiving end portion of the casing for defining a protrusion for limiting displacement of the gas check body toward the primer receiving end portion of the casing. A second cannulure is positioned within the projectile receiving end portion of the casing for forming a protrusion that engages an outermost one of the projectiles.

  • Patent number: 7905042
Abstract: A firearm with a stock having an exterior contour that is generally symmetric with respect to opposing end portions, a front edge portion and at least a portion of opposing side surfaces. A barrel extends through the front edge portion of the stock. Two safety release buttons are diametrically opposed to each other with respect to a barrel bore centerline axis and are exposed at a front edge portion of the stock. Two firing mechanism release buttons are each exposed at an exterior surface of the stock at a respective one of the opposing end portions. The firing mechanism actuation buttons are diametrically opposed to each other with respect to the barrel bore centerline axis. Firing of the firearm requires both of the safety release buttons to be depressed thereby allowing either of the firing mechanism actuation buttons to be depressed for firing the firearm.

  • Publication number: 20100192442
Abstract: A firearm has a striker moveably mounted within a cavity of a stock in a manner allowing the striker to be moved between a discharged position and a charged position. A barrel is attached to the stock and includes a chamber configured for receiving therein a round of ammunition. A vibratory device is mounted on one of the stock and the barrel and is configured for allowing vibratory emissions to be selectively emitted therefrom. The vibratory device is a mechanically energized vibratory device. A mechanical energy recharging structure of the vibratory device is exposed at an exterior surface of the stock. The vibratory device actuator is mounted on the stock and is coupled to the vibratory device in a manner whereby selection of the vibratory device actuator causes the vibratory device to emit the vibratory emissions therefrom.
