  • Publication number: 20180287927
Abstract: A method, apparatus, computer-readable medium, and/or system may comprise a computing device comprising a processor and memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computing device to generate a secure session connection between a computing device and a server associated with a plurality of routing networks. The computing device may receive, from the server and via the secure session connection, data associated with the plurality of routing networks. The computing device may determine whether a request to use a routing network of the plurality of routing networks at a location of a second computing device has been received. In response to determining that the request to use the routing network has been received, the computing device may determine, based on the data associated with the plurality of routing networks, a score for the request to use the routing network.

  • Publication number: 20180288562
Abstract: A method, apparatus, computer-readable medium, and/or system may comprise a wireless sensing device configured to detect that a user device is within range of a location. In response to detecting that the user device is within range of the location, the wireless sensing device may transmit, to a computing device, data indicating that the user device is within range of the location. The computing device may comprise a processor and memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computing device to generate, for display via the user device, a notification indicating the one or more routing networks for the user device to use at the location. After the user device is within range of the location, the computing device may generate a secure session connection between the computing device and the user device.

  • Publication number: 20180287596
Abstract: A filter with five or more electrically isolated inputs filtering EMI is provided for configurable lighting systems in an MRI room. The LED driver can be remote or on board the luminaire. Fixtures with no on-board electronics and Cat5 wiring are also possible given the MZPS characteristics. The embodiment of the filter includes independent, electrically isolated, low voltage, and low current feedthroughs. While the filter housing can take any form, the preferred embodiment is DB (or D-subminiature which contains two or more rows of pins or sockets surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that, among other things, screens against EMI). Individual feedthrough filters may be paralleled to increase total current required for increase load demand for MRI lighting systems. Further, the use of electrically isolated AC/DC or DC/DC drive electronics, enable the use of a low cost multi-input filter which supplies an MRI scan room with power to drive luminaires.

  • Patent number: 10081853
Abstract: A magnesium alloy is suitable for use as a corrodible downhole article, wherein the alloy includes: (a) 11-15 wt % Y, (b) 0.5-5 wt % in total of rare earth metals other than Y, (c) 0-1 wt % Zr, (d) 0.1-5 wt % Ni, and (e) at least 70 wt % Mg. It has been surprisingly found by the inventors that by increasing the Y content of the alloy to the range specified above, increased age hardening response and hence increased 0.2% proof stress can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20180202881
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring pressure within a fluid path includes a housing defining the structure of the apparatus. The housing includes a fluid path that extends through the housing and allows a fluid to pass through the housing. The apparatus also includes a first volume chamber that is in fluid communication with the fluid path and has a first volume chamber opening, and a second volume chamber with a second volume chamber opening that is less than the first volume chamber opening. A diaphragm separates the first volume chamber from the second volume chamber and fluidly disconnects the second volume chamber from the fluid path. The diaphragm deforms based upon the pressure within the fluid path. The apparatus also includes an interface that is connectable to a pressure sensor, and the second volume chamber is in fluid communication with the interface.

  • Publication number: 20170374714
Abstract: Linear control of RGB LED for generating ambient lighting with variable color is accomplished by using multiple linear regulators to vary LED intensity via analog dimming. Each regulator controls current through a given color LED which in turn varies the LED intensity. Given the wavelength shift of LEDs at various drive currents and perceived intensity difference to the human eye, for different colors, the current regulator response may be non-linear and unique depending upon the desired color. Further, the linear drive current regulation can be accomplished using voltage mode or current mode control. The device, system and methodology, each using RGB LEDs, can reproduce any color on the Cartesian Color Coordinate system.

  • Patent number: 9850013
Abstract: A device for folding an implant having a wing into a an overlapped configuration includes a funnel body comprising: a first portion configured to receive and protect the implant when the wing of the implant is in a flat or relaxed state, a second portion proximal to the first portion and configured to engage and fold opposite first and second side portions of the wing of the implant in a predetermined direction when the implant is retracted proximally from the first portion of the funnel body and into the second portion of the funnel body, and an overlap guide configured to direct the path of a first one of the side portions of the wing such that the first and second side portions of the wing are overlapped in a predetermined manner and to prevent respective edges of the first and second side portions of the wing from butting into each other as the first and second side portions of the wing are guided into the overlapping configuration during proximal retraction of the implant relative to the funnel body.

  • Patent number: 9833794
Abstract: A method for washing platelets includes introducing anticoagulant into a platelet product container, drawing re-anticoagulated platelet product from the platelet product container, and introducing it into a centrifuge bowl. The centrifuge bowl separates the platelets from the supernatant in which they are suspended. The method then washes the platelets by introducing wash solution into the centrifuge bowl. As the wash solution is introduced into the bowl, it displaces the supernatant from the bowl and into a waste container. The method then introduces platelet additive solution into the centrifuge bowl, which displaces the wash solution from the centrifuge bowl and into the waste container and further wash the platelets. The method then repeatedly accelerates and decelerates the centrifuge bowl to resuspend the platelets in the platelet additive solution.
