  • Patent number: 12163869
Abstract: A coulter assembly for collecting soil samples from an agricultural field in one embodiment comprises an annular collection blade configured for penetrating soil to capture a sample, an annular cam ring configured for stationary mounting to a frame of an agricultural vehicle and comprising a cam track, a blade hub coupled to the blade for rotatably supporting the annular collection blade from the annular cam ring, and a movable sample collector mounted to the annular collection blade. The moveable sample collector is configured and operable for extracting a soil sample as the annular collection blade is rotated through the soil. The moveable sample collector in one embodiment comprises a piston mechanism including a cylinder and rod movably disposed therein which actuated by the annular cam ring to alternatingly open and close a collection end of the cylinder as the annular collection blade rotates through the soil.

  • Publication number: 20240394797
Abstract: An investment manager engine automatically manages an investment fund. During an accumulation phase, the investment manager receives messages that include contributions to the investment fund. For each contribution, the investment manager determines an allocation of the contribution among securities and guaranteed income assets. The investment manager allocates at least a portion of the contribution to guaranteed income assets, according to the determined allocation. The guaranteed income assets provide a guaranteed annual income stream upon a predetermined date.

  • Patent number: 12152926
Abstract: A system for diagnostic analysis of a toilet over time intervals comprises a processor operable to receive a distance measurement from a sensor over a network. The processor is operable to determine an instance of a decrease in a water level in a toilet tank based on a comparison of the received distance measurement to a setpoint and to determine a plurality of instances of the decrease in the water level within a period of time. The processor is operable to calculate a ratio of the determined number of the plurality of instances of the decrease in the water level to a number of instances wherein a door changes from a first position to a second position. The processor is operable to compare the calculated ratio to a threshold ratio and to send an alert to a user device when the calculated ratio is less than the threshold ratio.

  • Publication number: 20240377285
Abstract: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or other samples.

  • Patent number: 12125361
Abstract: A system for measuring a fill level of a trash can comprises a processor operable to receive a distance measurement from a network, wherein a sensor communicatively coupled to the processor through the network is operable to determine the distance measurement. The processor is operable to calculate a percentage of waste in the trash can based on the received distance measurement and a difference between a first setpoint and a second setpoint. The processor is operable to determine a threshold for a first period of time based on entity information. The processor is operable to compare the percentage of waste in the trash can to the threshold for the first period of time and to send an alert for display on a user device when the percentage of waste is greater than the threshold for the first period of time.

  • Patent number: 12125580
Abstract: A system and method for on-site biopsy management. Patient information is retrieved through a biopsy system. A name of a patient, a biopsy type, and a site of the biopsy information are communicated to a user. Confirmations are received from the user through the biopsy system of the name of the patient, the biopsy type, and the site of the biopsy. A biopsy is associated with an identifier of a container securing the biopsy in response to receiving the confirmation. The biopsy information and the patient information is linked in the biopsy system. The linking is performed at a location the biopsy is performed.

  • Publication number: 20240338184
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums for a dependency tracking service which automatically identifies and tracks information about dependencies of a software component and provides one or more visualizations displaying that information. The system may identify the dependencies through automated metadata analysis of the software component, behavior analysis of the software component, or source code analysis of the software component. The system may track status of the software component by reference to one or more code management systems, vulnerability reporting systems, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20240338310
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums for managing the testing of software component dependencies. In some examples, the system may track versions of dependencies; provide an interface to create a customized testing environment—e.g., such as by allowing a user to select whether to include a particular dependency and what version of that dependency to include; select test scripts; select test environments; and automate tests of the selected versions. The system may log test results that can be used for proof of regulatory compliance. In some examples, the system may automate the testing of new dependency versions. For example, a new version of a dependency may automatically be tested by the system using one or more test scripts. The results may then be presented to one or more users.

  • Patent number: 12101414
Abstract: A medical treatment machine, such as a dialysis machine (e.g., a home dialysis machine, such as a home hemodialysis machine or a home peritoneal dialysis machine) can receive a digital prescription file that defines parameters of a medical treatment to be administered to a patient. The digital prescription file can be prepared and delivered in such a way that the medical treatment machine can confirm that the issuer (e.g., provider) of the digital prescription file is an authorized issuer without having any a priori knowledge of the particular issuer. The digital prescription file can be delivered irrespective of the inherent security (or lack thereof) of the transmission medium in a tamper-evident format using minimal resources necessary to verify the validity of the digital prescription file and its issuer. The digital prescription file may be delivered to the dialysis machine using a network cloud-based connected health system.

  • Patent number: 12089993
Abstract: Non-destructive testing scanner devices are disclosed to enable examination of portions of a part to be examined that presently-available scanners are not designed for. A scanner may include a central shaft having an assembly of engagement members adapted to engage an inner bore of a part and thereby support the central shaft along a central axis of the bore. An encoder may be supported by the central shaft. An ultrasonic probe may also be supported by the central shaft. The probe may be positioned on a surface of the part to be examined and moved in a circular path around the central shaft, and in so doing may cause a drive shaft on the encoder to rotate. The probe and encoder may be electrically connected to an instrument to convey data from the probe and from the encoder representative of characteristics of the surface being examined to the instrument.

  • Publication number: 20240281755
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of racks each storing packs of cigarettes, a display device associated with each rack and a master controller coupled to the racks and the display devices. A processor of the master controller is configured to receive a first indication that a scanner has scanned a first code associated with a first rack of the plurality of racks while in a product checking mode. In response, the processor obtains from a memory a first UPC associated with the type of packs expected to be stored in the first rack. The processor subsequently receives a second UPC scanned by the scanner of a pack actually stored in the first rack. Based on determining that the first and second UPCs do not match, the processor transmits an alert message indicating incorrect product placement in the first rack.

  • Publication number: 20240281786
Abstract: A system includes a rack storing items, an interaction device that processes the items, and a master controller that is configured to receive a communication signal from the rack indicating that items have been removed from the rack and determine based on monitoring communication signals from the interaction device whether the removed items were processed by the interaction device within a pre-configured time period from the time the items were removed from the rack. In response to determining that the items were not processed by the interaction device within a pre-configured time period, the master controller transmits an alert message including a number of the items removed from the rack and an identification associated with the items.
