  • Publication number: 20240281871
Abstract: A system includes a rack that stores a plurality of packs of cigarettes, a display device associated with the rack and a circuit board associated with the rack. The circuit board includes a network interface, a processor and a memory storing rack information, wherein the display device displays a code associated with the rack information. The processor is configured to receive an indication that a scanner has scanned the code, and in response, establish communication with the scanner. The processor receives a universal product code (UPC) associated with a pack of cigarettes scanned by the scanner and maps a rack number of the rack to the UPC. The processor updates the rack information in the memory by adding the UPC mapped to the rack number of the rack, wherein the code is associated with the updated rack information.

  • Patent number: 12066359
Abstract: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.

  • Patent number: 12056770
Abstract: An investment manager engine automatically manages an investment fund. During an accumulation phase, the investment manager receives messages that include contributions to the investment fund. For each contribution, the investment manager determines an allocation of the contribution among securities and guaranteed income assets. The investment manager allocates at least a portion of the contribution to guaranteed income assets, according to the determined allocation. The guaranteed income assets provide a guaranteed annual income stream upon a predetermined date.

  • Patent number: 12056775
Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed to transacting via social media interactions. In an example, content posted by a first user of a social media service provider and/or response(s) to the content posted by the first user of the social media service can be analyzed by computing system(s) of a payment processing service provider. The response(s) can be associated with second user(s) of the social media service provider. The computing system(s) can determine, based at least in part on the analyzing, an intent of at least the first user or the second user(s) to participate in a transaction for an item depicted in the content and can create a record indicating that item(s) depicted in the content are available for purchase by the second user(s). The record can be created at or near a time that the content is posted by the first user and used for facilitating the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20240240980
Abstract: A system comprises a rod placed inside a tank and configured to move a pre-configured distance as the level of a gas stored in the tank changes. A chamber is positioned in relation to a top region of the tank. A magnet is coupled to an upper portion of the rod and disposed inside the chamber such that the magnet moves with the rod. A circuit board is positioned adjacent to the chamber and includes two sensors positioned along the length of the chamber, wherein each sensor generates a voltage signal corresponding to a strength of magnetic field associated with the magnet. A memory stores voltage values corresponding to the voltage signal and a processor coupled to the memory calculates a volume of the gas in liquid form in the tank based on a voltage value generated by at least one of the sensors.

  • Patent number: 11954653
Abstract: A system includes first and second sensors, and a computing system. The first sensor measures a first property of a first piece of equipment, and the second sensor measures a second property of a second piece of equipment. The computing system includes a processor and memory, which stores a condition that depends on both the first property and the second property. Satisfaction of the condition indicates that maintenance of the first piece of equipment should be prioritized over maintenance of the second piece of equipment. The processor receives the measured first property and the measured second property. In response to determining, based on the measured first and second properties, that the third condition is satisfied, transmits an alert for display on a user device. The alert indicates that maintenance of the first piece of equipment has a higher priority than maintenance of the second piece of equipment.

  • Publication number: 20240111854
Abstract: An administered authentication system can authenticate an artificial reality device using an authorization record between a user account and an artificial reality device. In some implementations, the authorization record is created in response to activation of a user account-specific key sent to a user-supplied contact, where an artificial reality device identifier was provided with the user-supplied contact. In other implementations, the authorization record is created in response to activation of a user account-specific key provided to the artificial reality device as a code, where activation of the key includes adding an artificial reality device identifier to a key activation message. In yet other implementations, the authorization record is created in response to an application associated with a user account activating an artificial reality device-specific key, with an artificial reality device identifier, that is provided via the artificial reality device.
