  • Publication number: 20230270380
Abstract: Numerous aspects of communication devices, methods, and systems are described. One aspect is a system comprising an implantable object and at least one energy generator coupled to the implantable object. The at least one energy generator may comprise a plurality of generator elements operable to output a plurality of different energy types in a signal direction toward one or more living tissues of a user. Each generator element of the plurality of generator elements may be independently operable to output one energy type of the plurality of different energy types in the signal direction. When the implantable object is implanted, the at least one energy generator may be operable to affect the one or more living tissues of the user by causing the plurality of generator elements to output an energy signal in the signal direction with one or more energy types of the plurality of different energy types.

  • Patent number: 11740160
Abstract: An equipment monitoring system includes an unmanned vehicle, an alarm circuit remote from the unmanned vehicle, and a vehicle control circuit remote from the unmanned vehicle. The unmanned vehicle can include a communications circuit and a flight controller. The alarm circuit detects a failure condition of a building component and outputs an indication of the failure condition. The vehicle control circuit receives the indication of the failure condition from the alarm circuit; generates, based on the indication of the failure condition, an equipment verification signal that includes an identifier of the building component, a position of the building component, and a test of the building component to be executed; and transmits the equipment verification signal to the flight controller of the unmanned vehicle via the communications circuit of the unmanned vehicle to cause the unmanned vehicle to execute the test of the building component.

  • Publication number: 20230263574
Abstract: A proximity detection system allows monitoring of proximity between the end effectors of first and second independent robotic manipulators. Imagers are circumferentially positioned around the end effector of at least one of the robotic manipulators. Image data from the imagers is analyzed to determine proximity between the end effectors. When determined proximity falls below a defined threshold, the system issues an alert to the user or slows/suspends manipulator motion.

  • Publication number: 20230267119
Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method. The method comprises generating a subscription identifier based on an original SQL query and determining if a set of first stage query results is associated with the subscription identifier in a cache. If so, the method further comprises generating a second stage SQL query based on a second subset of the plurality of clauses and the set of first stage query results, causing execution of the second stage SQL query to obtain a set of second stage query results from a database, and returning the set of second stage query results.

  • Patent number: 11727520
Abstract: Zones a defined within an enterprise. Video captured from the zones are monitored for threats (financial or physical). Any transaction data associated with transactions are monitored with the video along with sensor data captured from sensors within the zones. Threat policies are evaluated to identify actions and behaviors of individuals within the zones and threat scores are maintained. When a current threat score associated with a specific type of threat for a given individual or set of individuals exceeds a threshold, one or more automated remediation or threat avoidance actions are processed to mitigate and/or prevent the perceived threat.

  • Patent number: 11729024
Abstract: A system transports a plurality of UDP datagrams from a sending application to a receiving application by creating a TCP tunnel between a TCP sending-end and a TCP receiving-end, encapsulating the datagrams in TCP packets at the TCP transmitting-end, transmitting the TCP packets via the TCP tunnel to the TCP receiving-end over a network using a TCP/IP protocol, and extracting the datagrams from the TCP packet and forwarding the extracted datagrams to the receiving application. The TCP tunnel may provide the same delay and responsiveness as UDP protocol. The TCP receiving-end may detect when a packet is missing and request retransmission when a packet is missing, so that the TCP sending-end retransmits the missing packets. The transmitting of TCP packets to the TCP receiving-end continues when the receiving-end detects a missing packet, so that there is no lag in the forwarding of the extracted datagrams. Retransmitted packets may be discarded.

  • Publication number: 20230248370
Abstract: A clipping system includes a clip, a core member and a control member. The clip includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, and clip arms. Proximal ends of the arms are slidably received within the channel to move the arms between open and closed configurations. The core member is received between and connected to the proximal ends of the arms to couple the arms to one another. The core member includes a locking feature movable between unlocked and locked configurations. The control member extends through a proximal portion of the system from a proximal end to an enlarged distal end housed within a proximal portion of the core member so that a longitudinal movement of the control member relative to the capsule moves the clip between the open and closed configurations.

  • Publication number: 20230252803
Abstract: Payment card slot tampering at a transaction terminal is detected in real time. One or more images from one or more cameras are analyzed. The camera(s) is/are focused overhead of the terminal on an area adjacent to and in front of a card slot for a card reader of the terminal. The images are analyzed for determining whether hands of arms for an operator of the terminal are performing actions that indicate the operator may be attempting to install a card skimmer/shimmer into the card slot and/or attempting to remove an existing skimmer/shimmer from the card slot. When card slot tampering event is detected at the terminal a variety of automated actions are processed, such as shutting down the card reader, shutting down the terminal, confiscating any payment card inserted into the card slot, notifying a financial institution, and/or notifying legal authorities.

  • Publication number: 20230252863
Abstract: Visual features of a vehicle, a vehicle's orientation with respect to a transaction terminal, and an individual associated with the vehicle are derived from video captured of the terminal and a surrounding area of the terminal. Additional information associated with brute force attacks in a location associated with the terminal are obtained as additional features. The visual features and the additional features are provided as input to a trained Machine-Learning Model (MLM) and the MLM provides as output a confidence value representing a prediction as to whether the current vehicle and the current individual are potentially about to engage in a brute force attack on the terminal. When the confidence value exceeds a threshold value, enhanced feature detection is enabled on the video, external systems are notified, and an incident packet of information is assembled.

  • Publication number: 20230252864
Abstract: Cash trapping at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is detected in real time. One or more images from one or more cameras are analyzed. The camera(s) is/are focused overhead of the ATM or on a cash slot of a dispense module for the ATM. The images are analyzed for determining one or more of whether the dispenser module is authentic, whether the cash slot opened or did not open when it should have opened for a cash withdraw, whether visual features of the dispense module have changed over a configurable period of time, and whether hands, gestures, and actions of a person present at the ATM indicate that cash trapping is taking place at the ATM. When cash trapping is detected at the ATM a variety of automated actions are processed, such as shutting down the dispense module, shutting down the ATM, notifying a financial institution, and/or notifying legal authorities.
