  • Publication number: 20220136359
Abstract: A zonal isolation device conveyed into the wellbore with a propped flapper valve. The zonal isolation device comprises a deformable sealing element and a support ring movably disposed within the inner bore of the sealing element. A flapper valve coupled to the support ring is configured to engage a sealing surface of support ring. The flapper valve blocks fluid flow through the zonal isolation device in a fully closed position, allows unrestricted fluid flow through the zonal isolation device in a fully open position, and allows restricted fluid flow through the zonal isolation device when held by a propping component in an intermediate or partially open position. The zonal isolation device is anchored to the wellbore by an anchoring assembly engaged with a wedge coupled to the downhole end of the sealing element.

  • Publication number: 20210289801
Abstract: Described herein are industrial application systems for treating (e.g., forming protective coatings on) produce, agricultural products, or other items. An exemplary application system can include a bed comprising a plurality of rollers, one or more sprayers over a first portion of the bed, one or more blowers over a second portion of the bed, a mixing system configured to prepare a mixture comprising a coating agent in a solvent, and a liquid delivery system connected inline between the mixing system and the one or more sprayers. Items placed on the bed can have the mixture applied to their surfaces via the one or more sprayers, after which the one or more blowers can at least partially remove the solvent from the surfaces of the perishable items, thereby causing the protective coatings to be formed over the perishable items.

Abstract: A method for improving a display of a user interface element in a mixed reality environment is disclosed. A request to display the user interface element is received. The request includes display instructions, angle threshold data, distance threshold data, and velocity threshold data. Display operations are continuously performed while sensor data is continuously received from a mixed reality user interface device. The display operations include displaying the user interface element according to the display instructions, and, based on the sensor data indicating a distance between the user interface element and the mixed reality user interface device in the mixed reality environment has exceeded a distance threshold or based on the sensor data indicating an angle of view of the mixed reality user interface device has exceeded an angle threshold with respect to the user interface element in the mixed reality environment, hiding the user interface element.

  • Publication number: 20210109757
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for interposing on nondeterministic events during multicore virtual machine (VM) execution to capture information that allows for deterministically recreating the nondeterministic events during execution replay of the VM. A method may include reading, by a virtual processor running within a multicore VM instance, an instruction to execute, and, responsive to a determination that the instruction is a nondeterministic instruction, interposing on the nondeterministic instruction execution so as to allow deterministic execution of the nondeterministic instruction during replay execution of the multicore VM instance. Interposing on the nondeterministic instruction execution may include recording a partial barrier event and/or a full barrier event. The nondeterministic instruction may be a read memory access instruction or a write memory access instruction.
