  • Patent number: 11163760
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes providing a data query service to a user based on natural language request data. The natural language request data is obtained from a user interface and a query structure is populated based on the natural language request data. The query structure is compared to stored queries and, based on identifying a stored query that matches the query structure, the user is prompted to confirm or reject that the identified query be performed. Based on receiving a confirmation of the identified query from the user, the identified query is selected for performance. Alternatively, based on receiving a rejection of the identified query from the user, a query based on the query structure is generated and selected for performance. The selected query is then performed on at least one data source and query output from the performed query is provided to the user.

  • Publication number: 20210322825
Abstract: A system and method for predicting next pitch are disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves pitch-by-pitch information for a plurality of events and game context information associated with each pitch in the pitch-by-pitch information. The computing system converts the pitch-by-pitch information and the game context information into a plurality of graph-based representation. A graph neural network learns to generate a pitch type prediction for each pitch based on the plurality of graph-based representations. The computing system generates a trained graph neural network based on the learning. The computing system receives a current graph-based representation of current pitch-by-pitch information for a current pitcher and current game context information. The computing system predicts, via the trained graph neural network, a pitch type for the next pitch to be delivered from the current pitcher.

  • Patent number: 11150181
Abstract: A system and method for encapsulating commercially significant attributes of a hydrocarbon product into a single digital signature are presented. The digital signature may be generated from a physical product sample using optical techniques such as NIR spectroscopy. Digital signatures may be expressed in the form of composition, principle components derived from the spectra, or other properties derived from the original spectra which characterize, and help visualize, the variation present within the signals. Other physical property measurements and contaminant measurements may also be included in the digital signature and may be derived from the same measurement device or separate measurement devices whose output is integrated into a single digital signature. Embodiments of the invention may be used to confirm the identity of a hydrocarbon product, or to verify the composition of a hydrocarbon product.

  • Publication number: 20210271341
Abstract: An electric field (e-field) touchscreen is described. A continuous stream of digital signal data that represents e-field signal deviations is received from multiple receive electrodes. The stream of digital signal data is processed using a machine learning model to determine a touch event and a location on a display screen of the touchscreen. The touch event is processed. The e-field touchscreen may determine whether a non-normal event may be occurring causing noise in the digital signal data. If so, the received stream of digital signal data is processed through a low-pass filter and processed through an absolute value average baseline filter. A difference between the filtered data is determined to generate a filtered stream of digital signal data and is processed using the machine learning model determine a touch event and a location on a display screen of the touch event. The touch event is processed.
