  • Publication number: 20250177638
Abstract: A macroencapsulation device includes a frame, a first membrane layer, a second membrane layer disposed on the first membrane layer, and an interior volume between the first and second membrane layers. The interior volume can encapsulate a population of cells. The frame includes a fill port extending from an exterior of the frame to an interior of the frame, with two slots formed in the frame on opposing sides of the fill port. The slots are formed on an interior portion of the frame. The first and second membrane layers are bonded together by a seal, which extends around and defines part of a perimeter of the interior volume. The seal includes two projections disposed in the two slots of the frame. A method of manufacturing includes bonding two membrane layers to form a seal defining a perimeter of an interior volume, and inserting the projections into the slots.

  • Publication number: 20240352392
Abstract: Macroencapsulation devices and related methods of manufacture are described where bonded membranes of a device may be mounted to an associated frame in an arrangement to provide stress relief between the frame and a seal perimeter of the bonded membranes. The seal perimeter may be arranged radially inward from an outer perimeter of the membranes such that when the membranes are mounted to a corresponding perimeter frame, the seal perimeter is spaced radially inwards from the frame with a unbonded portion of the one or more membranes disposed between the frame and seal perimeter.

  • Publication number: 20230200709
Abstract: This specification describes methods of performing ECG analyses. In one approach, the system receives an ECG recording for a first duration, automatically performs a first analysis of the ECG recording for the first duration to detect events with reference to each of a plurality of arrhythmias, generates a GUI where areas within the GUI are designated for displaying detected events for each of the arrhythmias and enables a user to select at least one ECG segment of a second duration of the ECG recording. In response to the user's selection of the at least one ECG segment, the system presents the user with at least one option, and in response to the user's selection of the option, the system performs a second analysis of the ECG segment of the second duration and displays at least one output corresponding to the second analysis.
