  • Publication number: 20190161815
Abstract: The present invention describes a fully bio-degradable probiotic composition and its method of use as leather tanning auxiliary to offer a green technology to reduce waste and increase the value of by-products reducing the need of synthetic chemicals and improving the quality of effluents. Probiotics or beneficial microorganisms are used to obtain biochemicals through a controlled fermentation of natural ingredients. The result of the process is a consortium of metabolites used in conjunction with probiotic bacteria wherein product has properties very similar to traditional leather auxiliaries extensively used during the leather making process, such as wetting, dispersing, degreasing and solubilizing agents. Therefore, they have clear applications not only in the beam house operations, but also in wet-end and finishing.

  • Patent number: 10205593
Abstract: In representative embodiments, a system and method to recommend improvements to a security reliance score is illustrated. Individual cryptographic key material has an associated security reliance score that is calculated based on attributes of associated with the cryptographic key material. The system identifies an improvement goal and evaluates a selected cross-section of key material and their associated scores. Based on the evaluation, the system creates an exemplary model having attributes to use as the basis of improvement. This model is then used to calculate improvement potential for a selected cross-section of scores by calculating the improvement that would occur if changes were made in the selected cross-section to match the model. Based on the improvement potential, the system can then automatically initiate action(s) to improve scores or present options for action(s) to a user for selection and initiation.

  • Publication number: 20190025171
Abstract: A pallet impact station includes a frame, at least one pendulum swing arm rotatably coupled to the frame, and a carriage assembly carried by the at least one pendulum swing arm. A latching mechanism extends between the frame and the at least one pendulum swing arm, and engages the at least one pendulum swing arm when the carriage assembly is in a lowered position, raises the carriage assembly to a raised positon, and disengages the at least one pendulum swing arm at the raised positon so that the carriage assembly strikes a pallet. A sensor generates a signal corresponding to how high the carriage assembly is raised. A controller operates the latching mechanism, including disengaging the at least one pendulum swing arm when a height of the carriage assembly corresponds to a desired release height so that a predetermined impact force strikes the pallet.

  • Publication number: 20190018968
Abstract: In representative embodiments, a system and method to recommend improvements to regulatory compliance is illustrated. Regulations are mapped to attributes of cryptographic key materials. Individual cryptographic key material has an associated security reliance score that is calculated based on attributes of associated with the cryptographic key material. The system identifies an improvement goal related to regulatory compliance and evaluates a selected cross-section of key material, their associated scores and regulatory compliance. • Publication number: 20180345843
Abstract: The application discloses integrated air suspension and platform lifting systems that utilize an existing air supply for lifting one or more platforms installed in a trailer or hauling vehicle. An apparatus for lifting a rear gate or platform of a trailer or a hauling vehicle is disclosed that includes an actuating mechanism operable to pivot the platform between a lowered position (e.g., where the end of the platform is in contact with the ground) and a range of raised positions (e.g., where the platform is raised to meet an elevated platform such as a loading dock). The lifting mechanisms for raising and lowering the platform(s) may utilize a pressurized gas supply from a compressor. In some embodiments, the lifting mechanism may be supplied with pressurized air from a compressor of a brake system of a tractor. In some embodiments a separate locking mechanism is provided to hold the platform in place after the lifting system has moved it into a desired position.

  • Publication number: 20180294975
Abstract: In representative embodiments, architectures to improve security through use of an anomaly score are disclosed. A set of cryptographic key material is used to create a model based on a dimensionality reduction and a density estimation that captures the expected behavior of the set of cryptographic key material. An anomaly score for presented cryptographic key material is calculated based on the model. The anomaly score represents the divergence from expectations for the presented cryptographic key material. The anomaly score can be used by a relying system to determine whether to trust the presented cryptographic key material. In this way, cryptographic key material that is valid can be tested to determine whether the cryptographic key material should be trusted even though it is valid.
