Patent number: 12145808Abstract: A method and to a device for handling hygiene products, in particular nappies, wherein the products are transported by a feed conveyor in a first transport direction into compartments of a removal conveyor, in particular a grouping conveyor, which transports the products in a second transport direction, wherein the second transport direction extends transversely, in particular perpendicularly, to the first transport direction. At least one intermediate conveyor which serves to reduce the transport speed of the products in the first transport direction is located between the feed conveyor and the removal conveyor.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2021Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Assignee: Focke & Co. (GmbH & Co. KG)Inventors: Matthias Vocks, Andreas Prahm, Arthur Wilhelm, Torsten Kramer

Publication number: 20240316331Abstract: An infusion set includes a tube and a roller clamp for regulating a flow of fluid through the tube. The roller clamp includes a housing that has side walls and a crosspiece connecting the side walls and on which the tube rests. A wheel is supported on running surfaces in or on the side walls so as to be rotatable and displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the housing. The running surfaces face the crosspiece. The lengths of the running surfaces extend in the longitudinal direction of the housing, and the widths of the running surfaces extend in the transverse direction of the housing. Movement of the wheel along the running surfaces alters a cross-section of the tube. The running surfaces each form a substantially punctiform support or contact point with the wheel, on an inner portion of the running surfaces, particularly an inner portion facing the wheel.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2022Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventors: Johannes Bolz, Matthias Kramer, Claudia Freitag, Torben Guhl

Publication number: 20230244790Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems for performing accelerated secure boot for embedded controllers of vehicles and other embedded systems. Security is maintained by keeping secret, on the device or vehicle, which portions of a software unit are to be used to satisfy an accelerated integrity check. A derivable, pseudo-random number generator based map of these elements may be employed, which is neither predictable nor discoverable. Further measures may be taken even if the secrets are compromised so the accelerated secure boot cannot be deceived on subsequent reboots. Boot time of an embedded system is shorter; the amount of software needing checked by the accelerated secure boot is less than a normal secure boot by factor of eight or more, which strongly accelerates the process. Emerging technologies may be easier adopted for use as embedded controllers and other computer systems that have fast start-up requirements.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2023Publication date: August 3, 2023Inventors: Julia Langenbach, Matthias Kramer

Patent number: 10857291Abstract: A medical pump, in particular an infusion pump for conveying a medium, includes a seating for a hose clamp which is separate from the pump and arranged on the hose. Two clamping portions of the hose clamp which can be moved relative to each other can be transferred into a closed relative position in which they pinch off the hose arranged therebetween in such a manner that it is not possible for any medium to flow through the interior of the hose. Moreover, the clamping portions can be moved with respect to each other into an opened relative position in which the hose arranged between the clamping portions is not pinched off, so that the medium is able to flow through the interior of the hose. The pump is distinguished in that a sensor is provided thereon, in particular in the seating for the hose clamp, which sensor detects at least when the hose clamp is received in the seating—whether their clamping portions are in the closed or opened relative position.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2019Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: B. BRAUN MELSUNGEN AGInventors: Jürgen Steger, Rolf Heitmeier, Andreas Katerkamp, Christoph Erlen, Matthias Kramer
