  • Publication number: 20010050049
Abstract: A central powder supply plant, includes a housing; and operating and control devices, integrated in the housing, for powder supply and/or electrostatic. The operating and control devices can be arranged individually or in groups or they may be combined to units.

  • Publication number: 20010033383
Abstract: A technique for testing the quality of optical components of a line-narrowing module is performed on-line. As the wavelength tends to drift from a desired value when the optical components of the line-narrowing module are heated due to absorption, one or more optical components is adjusted such as by rotation to tune the wavelength back to the desired wavelength using a feedback loop. The amount of adjustment of these optical components is monitored for indirectly measuring, and thereby testing, the absorption or quality of the optical components.

  • Patent number: 6243406
Abstract: A gas mixture of a gas discharge laser such as an excimer or molecular fluorine laser is stabilized. The gas mixture of the laser includes a constituent halogen containing molecular species such as F2 or HCl which is subject to depletion from an initial optimum concentration. When the gas mixture is energized by a pulsed discharge circuit, the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) signal is monitored. The status of the gas mixture is determined based on the monitored ASE signal. Stimulated emission is preferably filtered or blocked for more precise ASE signal monitoring. The gas mixture is preferably replenished using small halogen injections, total pressure adjustments and mini and partial gas replacements based on the evolving gas mixture status determined from the monitored ASE signal.

  • Patent number: 6187098
Abstract: A powder coating cabin includes a column-like housing defining an interior space between a ceiling and a bottom, with the bottom being substantially of flat configuration, and a coating unit arranged on the housing for spraying powder onto an object. The powder coating unit is further provided with a cleaning unit which is so received in the housing as to be movable between a stand-by position in which the cleaning unit is arranged at least partially underneath the bottom and an operative phase for automatically cleaning at least the inner wall surfaces of the housing, whereby the bottom is suitably so designed as to clear a passage for the cleaning unit.

  • Patent number: 6126831
Abstract: A device and method are described to determine the concentration of a substance in blood flowing through a blood chamber of a dialyzer during extra corporeal blood treatment. The flow rate of dialysate flowing through the dialysate chamber of the dialyzer is reduced to a value at which the concentration of the substance at the outlet of the dialysate chamber is essentially the same as the concentration of that same substance in the blood at the inlet of the blood chamber. The concentration measurement can be carried out without interrupting the flow of dialysate.

  • Patent number: 5866015
Abstract: A method and a device for determining hemodynamic parameters during an extracorporeal hemotherapy, in which the blood arrives via the arterial branch (20) of the extracorporeal circuit (9) of the hemotherapeutic device (7), which is in fluid communication with arterial section (21) of a fistula (6), into dialyzer (10) or into a filter of the hemotherapeutic device and is recirculated via the venous branch (22) of the extracorporeal circuit (9), which is in fluid communication with venous section (23) of fistula (6). The temperature T.sub.A prevailing in the arterial branch (20) of the extracorporeal circuit (9) is measured under a changing blood flow, the temperature T.sub.V of the venous branch (22) of the extracorporeal circuit being kept constant. From the determined value pairs of the arterial temperature T.sub.A and of the extracorporeal blood flow Q.sub.B, those parameters of a predetermined function T.sub.A (Q.sub.
