  • Publication number: 20080038088
Abstract: A chiplessly thread-forming screw has a stem (11) at one end of which a tip (13) is provided and at another end of which a head (14) is provided, and which has a pointed conical section (21) extending from the tip (13) in a direction of the head (14), a cylindrical section (25) arranged between the first pointed section (21) and the head (14), a first cambered section (22) adjoining the pointed conical section (21) in the direction of the head, and a second cambered section (24) arranged between the first cambered section (22) and the cylindrical section (25) and an outer surface (16) of which has a second curvature radius (R2) unequal to the first curvature radius (R1) of the outer surface (12) of the first cambered section (21).

  • Publication number: 20070246309
Abstract: A parking brake for a commercial vehicle equipped with an air-operated service brake is configured in such a way that the actuating energy for the brake is reduced in comparison to a configuration with a spring brake cylinder, while the installation space in the wheel area is minimized. Primary functional parts of the parking brake include an inner race and an outer race, which delimit an annular gap. Displaceable tapered-roller bearings are located in the annular gap. To adopt a release position in opposition to the action of a compression spring, the tapered roller bearings are disengaged from the conical surfaces of the inner race and the outer race.

  • Patent number: 7104770
Abstract: The present invention relates to the arrangement of a stator and a spare stator. In order to avoid a permanent correction in the length of the driving shaft, the spare stator is connected to the instantaneously operated stator or is configured in a single piece. Upon occurrence of a defined amount of wear, this stator combination is merely reversed through 180° relative to the longitudinal axis or an intermediate tube is inserted so that the spare stator arrives in the rotor region.

  • Patent number: 6060432
Abstract: Compounds of Formula I, and their N-oxides and agriculturally suitable salts, are disclosed which are useful for controlling undesired vegetation ##STR1## wherein X, Y, J, R.sup.1, and R.sup.2 are as defined in the disclosure. Also disclosed are compositions containing the compounds of Formula I and a method for controlling undesired vegetation which involves contacting the vegetation or its environment with an effective amount of a compound of Formula I.
