  • Publication number: 20240372210
Abstract: A housing part for an electrical energy store which has a plurality of storage cells disposed next to each other in such a way that gas venting valves of the plurality of storage cells are located on a common side includes a gas venting channel, which is designed to conduct gas to a gas venting valve of the energy store. The housing part also includes a shielding device, which is designed to cover the common side of the plurality of storage cells and thus to shield the common side of the plurality of storage cells from gas in the gas venting channel. The shielding device is also designed such that gas which exits through the gas venting valve of a first storage cell of the plurality of storage cells causes a locally limited opening in the shielding device, through which the gas from the first storage cell can pass into the gas venting channel.

  • Publication number: 20240288356
Abstract: This disclosure concerns a cytometry system including a handling system that enables presentation of single cells to at least one laser source. The laser source is configured to deliver light to a cell within the cells in order to induce bond vibrations in the cellular DNA. The system further includes a detection facility that detects the signature of the bond vibrations, wherein the bond vibration signature is used to determine the folding or packing of the DNA.

  • Publication number: 20240242612
Abstract: A method and device for warning a following vehicle on a defined roadway section about an obstacle. Ego trajectories of ego vehicles moving on the roadway section are captured in a first time interval and a first swarm trajectory is formed therefrom and stored with a first time stamp. A second swarm trajectory is formed from ego trajectories of ego vehicles moving on the roadway section in a second time interval, the second time interval being offset in time from the first time interval. The second swarm trajectory is stored with a second time stamp. A difference between the first and second trajectories and an associated difference magnitude are formed. If this difference magnitude is greater than a predetermined threshold, an obstacle is recognized as being present on the roadway section and a warning signal is output to a following vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240230836
Abstract: A radar device may generate an integrated range-velocity map by combining data from a plurality of range-velocity maps. Each range-velocity map may be associated with a respective radar channel from a plurality of radar channels. The radar device may identify a first peak in the integrated range-velocity map. The first peak may indicate one or more radar targets in the integrated range-velocity map and being identified by a first bin having a first range-velocity bin index. The radar device may determine a first data set by extracting, from each range-velocity map, data that is included in a respective bin associated with the first range-velocity bin index. The radar device may process the first data set to determine a first set of phase imbalances associated with the plurality of radar channels.

  • Publication number: 20240137135
Abstract: A method for determining a nonlinearity characteristic of a receiver path includes generating a set of N×M digital samples by repeating N times selecting an scaling factor from a set of N scaling factors, generating a version of a test signal, the version of the test signal corresponding to a test signal scaled by the respective scaling factor, processing the respective version of the test signal in at least a part of the receiver path to generate a respective processed signal, and storing M digital samples corresponding to the respective processed signal. Fourier-transformed data are generated using at least a portion of the set of N×M digital samples and a nonlinearity characteristic of the receiver path is determined based on the Fourier-transformed data.
