  • Publication number: 20230123966
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a printing driver unit, which discloses method and printer driver unit for performing a transaction by automatically transmitting data to an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) terminal. Method includes receiving, by printer driver unit associated with host computing device, first print request including first data related to purchase, from host computing device. Further, the printer driver unit extracts final transaction amount from first data and determines status of EDC terminal upon extracting final transaction amount. When EDC terminal is determined to be in first state, the printer driver unit generates a second print request including extracted final transaction amount and transmits the generated second print request to EDC terminal to facilitate automatic insertion of final transaction amount in EDC terminal to initiate payment transaction.

  • Publication number: 20230116704
Abstract: Alternative splicing events in SCN1A gene can lead to non-productive mRNA transcripts which in turn can lead to aberrant protein expression, and therapeutic agents which can target the alternative splicing events in SCN1A gene can modulate the expression level of functional proteins in Dravet Syndrome patients and/or inhibit aberrant protein expression. Such therapeutic agents can be used to treat a condition caused by SCN1A, SCN8A or SCN5A protein deficiency.

  • Publication number: 20230038662
Abstract: Fascia activation and training devices having an adjustable length, collapsible, elongate device body having opposing ends to which open ended interchangeable cuffs are removably mounted. The end cuffs of the training devices provide for inward and/or outward compression forces to be applied by a user's body members engaging such end cuffs, thereby enhancing fascial activation and training, and providing users with proprioceptive feedback, making motor learning in biomechanical retraining through fascia remodeling possible. Methods of use of such training devices provide for the use of multiple types of training devices in combination, resulting in the enhanced training of biomechanical chains of muscles.

  • Publication number: 20230021771
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing metric data for patterns in a modeling environment are disclosed. In some aspects, contexts for generating metric data for a pattern are constructed. The pattern represents one or more computations executable in the modeling environment and associated with operation or behavior of a real-world system. The contexts include information about the pattern. The metric data is associated with one or more objectives with which the use of the pattern is associated. Code for the pattern for each context is generated. Metric data is generated for the pattern and under each context. The metric data of the pattern under each context is associated with the objectives. The metric data and the association are stored for use in providing information about or based on the metric data when the pattern is to be or is used in a model representing the real-world system.

  • Patent number: 11563803
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention utilize an optimized key-value storage engine to strike the optimal balance between cloud-cost and performance and supports queries, including updates, lookups, range queries, inserts, and read-modify-writes. Cloud cost is manifested in purchasing both storage and processing resources. The improved approach has the ability to self-design and instantiate holistic configurations given a workload, a cloud budget, and optionally performance goals and a set of Service Level Agreement (SLA) specifications. A configuration reflects an optimized storage engine design in terms of, for example, the individual data structures design (in-memory and on-disk) in the engine as well as their algorithms and interactions, a cloud provider, and the exact virtual machines to be used.
